and I had a lot of money to throw around. I would buy into bitcoin over a certain time period, DDOS one of the main methods (Dwolla) for converting fiat to bitcoin, sell my large position in bitcoin, wait for others to follow and the price to drop, then begin buying at a much lower price. :-)

I think that's either exactly what happened, or the ddosing of dwolla being a happy coincidence for the dumper. The important thing is being able to buy some more before it corrects back to the 90s+!
