I was wondering if we could gather little sums of our BTCs in one address, invest and share the profit. anyone care to comment/join? It's much less riskier than investing large amounts of BTC...

it's not possible to generate returns like this unless it's a Ponzi or pyramid scheme. have you failed to notice the real players like xapo, circle and coinbase don't offer anything like this?

you do have a chance of making some profit if they're actively pushing for saps and you get out quick enough. other than that you're throwing your money away. if you can't see that then you deserve to lose it.

these sites are not legitimate, you think they are probably because their advertisement was nice search for some feedback and you will see.
they usually don't ask for a lot of money! it is 0.01-0.1 max which is $5.7-$57 or less which is not a lot! and that is why they get so many victims.

your idea won't work by the way because you would have to take two risks, sharing with another person and risking on the site.

Have you any time bother to check how they can pay such a high-interest rates? which is not common even for big banks? Because they are not real but they just want your deposits and once they reach their target than they will run away with your money and come up with another even very attractive site to collect money. So waste your money and time finding such good sites.

If your mean with a lot of legitimate sites are HYIP and another sites investments using bitcoin who give interest daily,weekly or monthly. They are has high risk, usualy is ending with scam, there is free of risk on there.and it iss not long live.

Investment means definitely money ask will be there for sure. I would recommend op to try with btc jam site to get some decent invest and nice profit further by getting interest. For that you need some funds before start lending btc.

Can you list here all the legitimate sites you are talking too and you will might get an enlightment view of the said site.

Los of interest, high returns for a short period time are the most promise of those ponzi scheme.

I agree with chaser15, I think you should have mentioned those legitimate sites you are saying. Nowadays, it's really hard to trust any investment sites because mostly they turned to scam after few days/weeks/months. Another thing, I doubt the idea of gathering little sums of BTC in one address. Why?

1) Who's address will be used / Who will manage funds?
2) How can we be sure that the person is trusted and will not go and get all of the BTC gathered?
2) How can we be sure that it will go through an investment?
3) If it was invested, how the profit will be divided?

There will be lots of things to consider before it happened, if ever it will happen.

ok lets assume your investment sites are not HYIPS, PONZI, Cloudmining or in one word scams. lets assume there are legit places.
this is not an idea that you can ever apply in the real world. because it would mean you have to trust others or one person who is holding that one address that everyone pays to and trust that he is not going to simply run away.

also another problem with this idea is that it is not worth it!
because if you invest big you earn big profit and if you invest small something like 0.001BTC your share of the profit is lower than dust so you have to pay more in transaction fees

If you think that a lot of sites are here for investment and they are paying very good profit, so becareful most of the scammers are here, and secondly if you do it so may be you actually amount you would be lost, because i have a experience of it. But now i know very well. Now you are newbie and also you think that very thing is very easy, but in reality not at all.

There are no any investment offer that is legit and also guarantee to give profit on your investment. Some of the programs are hyips,cloud mining and bankroll in bitcoin casinos that currently exist, however hyips & cloud mining are just ponzi and can run overnight with all the investments where as investing in bankroll of casinos is also high risk low gain type of investment. So basically investing bitcoin is not a good way to earn more bitcoin, you can try trading which is also risky but chance of profit is also high.

As mentioned above , no legit sites on bitcoin investment , All the sites which pays high interest are like ponzi schemes ,they will turn scam on some day, because those sites will not earn  profit  by investing in any big project , they just ones money to other and after making good money they will turn scam.

Very bad advice, you're basically telling people to invest in ponzi schemes and get your money out just before they scam...
People doing that as as guilty as the owners of these scams in my opinion and giving that kind of advice is just wrong.

It is a good idea but it will face issues of credibility unless the main trader is reputed legendary rank holder. I won’t invest in any site promising such kind of returns of crowd funding investment. Someone is doing similar kind of trade here on bitcointalk with title ‘charity trading’ where he is trading with the funds he receive from generous members and he donates profits to charities. Crowd funded investment pool is a good idea but only if manager is reputed and experienced.
