Future Bitcoin Convention

To the moon! lol

actualy blockchain can help people with smart contracts, for example, you buy a land and this will be always in the chain, no chance to change it...
You know, corrupt governments do whatever they want with the lands and others stuffs...
"to the moon"

I'm thinking these people probably don't know what a smart phone or computer is since they probably don't know what running water is. I doubt smart contracts or buying land is anything they need to worry about. Their big worry is most likely who ate the family dog before thanksgiving.
This is one of the things that a TON of people overlook when they think that Bitcoin is going to be a huge help to poorer countries. A lot of them simply aren't developed enough for something like Bitcoin to make sense to them, let alone smart contracts. And even then most will likely have a hard enough time understanding computers and phones.

bitcoin can help poor countries in collecting donations. because all what you need is an address and everyone from all over the world can send a donation in a matter of second. it also works fine in remittance because of the low fees comparing with WU
fees are lower with Western Union, but still high in countries that are very poor. some cents seem low to you, but this might be a days work in some poor country.

what are you taking about ? remittance money are always sent from developed countries by a family member who wants to support his family. so instead of losing 10% of the money or more as fees for WU, with btc  the tx  can be sent with less than 2 cents as fees. there is no comparison Cheesy

You are right, bitcoin transaction fee  is  only small compared to WU and other remittances worldwide which is  very useful  when we intend to send money to our family and relatives and also the transfer time is also fast and convenient within a few clicks  you can already transfer money without any hassle.

I'll add another flavor to it, "and don't forget that its INSTANT" which is a faster way of sending money to other people. I hope that all people will be educated with bitcoin technologies and cryptocurrency.

In poor countries we can find the people who can use internet but I don't think bitcoin is being use by poor people. For that we need one trusted person who is kind hearted and can help the poor in that country itself who is using Internet.

For sure bitcoin or any other altcoin can help, and well, the fiat transfers can make days to arrive to destination, with bitcoin it only takes few minutes...

This is the future, no banks!

Yes definitely bitcoin could help poor countries. I am describing in short.

If people of poor country use bitcointalk then they will definitely make some money (btc) and by selling those btc they will get real money so neither they spend anything or there is waste of their country's currency. Still they managed to earn free money. So indirectly they helped their country.

Yeah. That's one of the best features of bitcoin. You can send anywhere you want  with low transaction fees and without dealing with so much time.

yeah true especially if you are in a poor state. even they do not have electricity at all, surely with it they will not be able to access the mobile phone even though bitcoin. so I think the technology of bitcoin is not suitable for the country is really poor? bitcoin is a technology of the future

i do not know about all poor places, but you would be surprised how many of these poor places use smartphones. of course they are not using an iphone, but you can make very cheap smartphones and as you do not need to build expensive landlines but just antennas.
anyway, i see a problem with smart contracts. what good is a contract and proof if they force you to "sell" it to them for an family dog. or if they just take your land and you have the prove but not the power to take what is yours.

I assume your are talking about them participating in signature campaigns to earn themselves some bits? What if at some point signature campaigns are not allowed anymore? Can Bitcoin still help these people according to you?

it does not matter if signature campaigns are allowed or not, since his whole argument makes no sense. in his scenario bitcoin is just used as a unit of money. it is exchangeable and not the source of the help. not bitcoin is helping in this case, but bitcointalk or the signature campaign or advertise in general. would this work without bitcoin? yes, so bitcoin is not the source of the help.

Bitcoin can help those countries which mostly have access to the Internet and very low salaries. In my country an average salary is about 150$ (well, it is actually above average). And for such money you have to work for 6-8 hours 5 days per week. Considering this I must say that working for a signature campaign, for example, you can earn nearly a salary and work a lot less than even 6 hours per day.

the only thing that i can see possible be useful for these countries and people in them using bitcoin is charities accepting donations. since sending bitcoin is super cheap compared to sending any other way of sending money, people can make easier and more donations. they can even send a tiny amount because it is possible with bitcoin.

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.
Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

Bitcoin can help poor countries and also the poor people as there are many of them who don't even have bank accounts, in that case bitcoin can take best care of them.

Yes bitcoin can help poor countries , like dollar & euro can do, if their local currency have super low ratio to $/€ ,
they can do online work and get paid for btc and after that do some daytrade or invest to make profit you just need to be smart & not lazy !
