I have used Bit Instant several times over the last few days. But I have been waiting for my last two deposits to clear for a few hours now? Usually my BTC have been in my wallet within 5-10 minutes. Anyone else have trouble during this recent dip? I got an email from Zip Zap saying the payment was successful when the price was $78.

My order has been ignored by BitInstant for nearly 12 hours, as have my emails. Apparently there's no longer any way to open a support ticket with them either. It looks like my order failed due to MtGox's very high load last night and now it is stuck.

Frustrating, because I was recommended to use them quite highly.

It's frustrating that I can't give unqualified recommendations to any US-based business when it comes to converting dollars to bitcoin. Every one of them appears to be struggling to keep up with demand.

Hey,

We have no issue, every order is processing normally. Sometimes delayed!

If you have an issue, please post your Order ID here so I can resolve it!

Thanks.

Hey, this is true. Growing pains are difficult, especially since our volume is in the millions every day, but I think we'e doing a great job.

The amount of support here is less then 0.0001% of all our orders

Thanks for doing that! Did anyone have an issue?

Hi Yankee, thanks for replying. Yes my order has a problem, it got stuck due to MtGox's downtime and high load last night. Can you please take a look - my order ID is 1fd33350-e2ee-42c0-9a23-04054dd14b55

Thanks!

The problem is that even with things are running smoothly no single service offers the ideal combination of features for buying bitcoins. Dwolla to Mt Gox is cheap but takes forever. Coinbase is convenient but is always sold out. Bitinstant works well except you have to use MoneyGram. Bitfloor accepts cash deposits at a bank but doesn't have much market depth and the price is higher. Nobody will let me direct deposit into a trading account.
