Hi Dev,

Why I cannot see the total Balance anymore in my wallet (display -). I can see the amount on the blockchain.
I installed the wallet on another PC but  still display -. It was able to see the amount of KMD few hours ago

It must be some issue with the Iguana app. If you use the Basilisk mode, then it fails to inquirer data (basilisk mode needs a good connection). If you are using Full mode, then maybe there's some problem with the blockchain sync.

looks like some networking issue with a seed server. If you already are running the basilisk it should be fine, but if you restart it, then it could be some troubles until this is fixed

Basilisk seed node issue confirmed, router is being restarted. all should be good in basiliskland in 10 minutes.

this is  a quirk in the basilisk bootstrap, which starts with a seed node and each request gets a random node. It then accepts some (not all) of the returned nodes and increases its list of available notaries to connect to. Over time, eventually all notaries will be connected to.

Once you get even just an additional notary, then the seed node is not needed. Recent gui added an init phase where it established contact.

However, currently for a node that is starting up, it does require the seed node to be active.

What this means is that you are better off not restarting iguana if you are already connected. Also if you get an error when starting up, it is likely just a short term problem and just try again later.

making this seed process a lot more redundant is one of the things on the todo list.

tried it again a few minutes ago, still the same error messages. After a while i can enter my seed but in the wallet no balance and transactions i made are shown.

@jl777: i´m not running my machine 24/7, so every time i before shutting down i´m surely closing my wallet.
