What is this Mr. bitcointalk ! I sent a topic asking for paypal vs skrill trade. I received an answer from a trusted member and when I replied him I found out that this expression was added to my message : !!! WARNING: This user is a newbie. If you are expecting a message from a more veteran member, then this is an imposter !!!
This is way disrespectful towards newbies on your website as you are taking them all for scamers and imposters!!!! Couldn't you write a more subtle and respectful warning??

That warning is intended to warn people of scammer/imposter so you shouldn't be offended at all if you're neither. But I think there are few people who will always feel offended no matter what is written there. Those guys would ask for a thousand apology to be added there if they can.

ITs not just you who has that messages when sending being a newbie so do get use to it until you get used to it.
it won't be long and your recipient won't be seeing it later when you become a member of this community. you'll understand it later when you got scammed by users who pretended to be someone else with almost same username.

you have to understand that there are a lot of people here that are doing various bad things.  this is for the protection of the users and it is not meant to be a bad thing.  if you are being sent PM's from new users, you will see the same warning there for you too.  Keep posting and in a little over two weeks you will move up the ladder and it will be gone.  also, bear in mind with or without that added message, any one that is going to be doing business with you will know your rank if they have any sense and the newbie thing will either be an issue or it will not.  When I was 22 years old I got hired to sell insurance in people's home.  trust was a hard thing to get past because the people I was selling to were twenty years my senior.  i am sure that i lost sales based solely on that point.  there was nothing i could do about my age and there is nothing you can do about your rank, other than wait and continue doing the right thing.

There was and probably still is a problem with noob account usernames that arealmost exactly like veteran member names, especially escrows.  That's how that little addition evolved,  and it's useful.

it seemed strange until you mentioned the username thing.  I was wondering how a scammer led a person to believe that they were user X and then PM's as a different user, like a hacked account or something, but yeah, using names close to that of a known veteran would possibly work.  I love the fact that a scammer, not saying the OP is one, just a general comment, cannot just post nicely and wait two weeks for the rank to go up, do you have to steal people's money now, just put in the time, become the next rank and then steal....lol.

Anyone can see the rank and knows that he is dealing with newbie and not a veteran member whose rank would obviously be higher

1. The message is only there when you're a newbie. It's just to warn people don't fixate on it top much.
2. Every member here was a newbie? So we've all had that message. The receiver should also have expected it and paid little attention to it.

This is what you may feel is disrespectful, but bitcointalk really isn't a place to trade, especially for newbies. There have been many impersonators before, so I guess this is a good thing, protecting the members of the community from potential scams?

and don't forget that even though you seem to be the one that people are being protected from, the whole system is there to protect everyone, you could get scammed just as easy as someone could get scammed by you.  crypto is a no refund world and there is no way to ever get the funds back once sent unless that person decides to send funds back
