Trust me if you want. $2 is chump change to be fair but it's a lot of effort to get cash into Bitcoin especially for such a small amount. Don't ask me for collateral. If I had something, I would've sold it.

Here's a small exchange I did a short time ago:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1589195.msg15960525#msg15960525

Anyway if you trust me, thanks. I'll repay $3 within two weeks.

You say yourself, you have no collateral, so the reply is simply no loan for you, please lock this topic yourself and come back if you can offer some collateral.

I understand but if I had something worth $2, I'd sell it. I can get the money easily but it's 11:11pm here and WAY TOO MUCH effort to get $2 cash into Bitcoin when I just need it for a short time. I can offer my account as collateral, it has 48 potential activity but the point isn't what my collateral is worth, it's about mutual trust. I've got no reason to scam for $2.

The issue you have is that you have no trust here.  There is no way you can ask us to trust you as a newbie when we have no security you are going to pay back.  We are not saying you are a bad person, you just have no security here.  This is not like a bank where you come in and furnish your id and pay stubs and get money then go on your way.  We can not verify you and there is no trust.  This is why we require collateral.  No Collateral, no loan.

I understand that, but I'm sure that you can also understand that collateral isn't required per sé. I know I have no trust but it's not like I want to farm trust to take out a 5 million dollar loan. All I need is this $2 loan which once I pay back will be finished and I'll most likely refrain from asking for a loan again.
How you benefit if you trust me: you get free money.
If something happens, you lose $2. If someone can't afford to lose $2, they shouldn't be loaning. But the thing is I am going to pay back. If I had collateral, I would have sold it for the $2 I need.

Well is it way too much effort to ask your parents or friends, or is it just too shameful to scam in real life?

I do understand where you are coming from when it comes to asking for assistance from parents and friends and all, but I do understand where they may be an issue.  There are not to many places you can transfer small amounts of money on Bitcoin.  Also, and I know this would be the case for me, not all family's deal with bitcoin at all.  I know none of my family understands bitcoin let alone has an account.  I do get where you are coming from, just had to throw my two cents in there!!!

I've got $100 under my bed lol but if I wanted to go to the store and buy a card + pay a $7 fee for a card then use an online exchange & pay the rates to end up with 50% of the original amount I had in btc I would. But I don't want to go through all of that bullshit for just $2. And I need it in Bitcoin. None of my friends or family use Bitcoin so that's out of the question.

Typical. A bullied child that has to resort to being a dickhead online. Read my last post. You don't know me, so fuck off, this is the lending section and I made a request that has literally NOTHING to do with you. Giving me negative trust for DOING NOTHING wrong is like you punishing someone for walking into a hospital.

This is the lending section. By FORUM STANDARDS, collateral is NOT REQUIRED. I don't go around giving negatives to people who do something I don't like, now do I? Fuck off.
