So ever since I got the 3.22 client, several times a day I'll have a new Receiving address created for me, and the frustrating part is that it overwrites my main address in the primary window, so if I want that address to display I must go to the Address Book and select it.

Also, I can't tell how to get rid of or clear the other receiving addresses.  All I'm doing at this point is mining so I've received a couple BTC here and there, but I only want to use the 1st address I got and have no need for these additional addresses that keep being created.

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

It's a security feature so all those transactions can not be traced and connected ... it's not a bug, it's a feature Wink but you're right that there should be an option to disable or configure that behavior.

I think I need some more clarification.

Why does this need to happen automatically?  If I need a new Receiving address, I can just generate one in the client right?  I don't see what purpose having more and more addresses created for me when at this time I'm only using a single one to receive BTC.
