hello, can you tell me what do you mean by pixcoin ? and how is it related with online games ? also, not all people use bitcoin for playing online games. if you use btc only for gambling purposes, then it doesnot mean that every people use it for that purpose only. personally, i didnot like that name suggested by you. bitcoin sounds way better than pixcoin and i dont think that name really matters in this case.

I dont think so, since bitcoin has a variety of uses and gaming is not the center of the crypto economy. Its like saying to change dollars to game money just because we use it to pay our gaming activities. Bitcoin in itself is the identity that has made itself in the market and it is the one imprinted in the minds of individuals. Changing the name would cause chaos and problems in the cryptocurrency economy.

bitcoin is not only being use in games so why should it be called pixcoin if you can use it in your game. Should a dollar be called dota dollar because you can use it to purchase csgo skins?

Pixcoin? Whatever your meaning of that is, bitcoin is not only used in online games.
This world is larger than you think. Online gaming is like just 3% of the total number of applications of bitcoin.

There's no game that accepts bitcoin for online games IMO. And as what the common questions what is this pixcoin? Where do you get it ? And why should pixcoin  is the appropriate name for bitcoin? Nah I don't get it

I don't get what relation it has to gaming or bitcoin with that particular name.

Bitcoin is more universal than Pixcoin... If you call it that, it would sound like some fairy pixie from NanaLand. Bitcoin was not my first choice, but it's

definitely better than Pixcoin. I would personally remove the coin part, because I feel it creates confusion with fiat coins. Something like BitMoney or

something similar, would have been a better name to present the currency token.

That would be much difficult to rename bitcoin because it will not only create confusion but it will also turn bitcoin goodwill in gray shade and that would not bring any positive impact. I am also unaware of any meaning of pixcoin (does that really mean anything?) and other question is why you want to use that name? Yes bitcoin is being used im gaming and gambling but it’s also used in funds mobilization and that’s primary motive of bitcoin founders.

I don't actully get what op wants to say.but as other users commented i have got to know thats its about to renaming bitcoin into pixcoin btw i love yhe word bitcoin more than pixcoin because it has the word bit(technology bits) in its name and it also attracts a lot of peoples attention nowdays

Only a few people are using Bitcoin to purchase games (I'm one of them) even the majority of the bitcoin users choose to use PayPal or their credit card when they buy steam keys,but even if they did I don't see any reason why we should rename Bitcoin.
If you think that this is a good cryptocurrency name and like it so much you can try to create your own altcoin and call it Pixcoin

And this name will be somewhat more suitable for cryptocurrency used as payment method by gamers.

I don't know if Op want to chance name of Bitcoin to Pixcoin or create another coin with that name. Both ideas are not that pleasing IMO.

I remember seeing an advertisement about pixel for bitcoin once so this might be the game that OP is referring too so play for bitcoin.

what do you mean by pixcoin i didnot like that name suggested by you mean that every people use it for that purpose only bitcoin.and I just know bitcoin From a user perspective, Bitcoin is pretty much like cash for the Internet Bitcoin is an online financial network that people use to send payments

For those who were wondering what they are Pixcoin was a name I invented.
I suggested this name because I could not get any net income relying on the costs to obtain Bitcoins or through web pages or through hardware (Bitcoin miners).

And reminds me of that virtual environment, Second Life

I don't understand why "Pixcoin" is relevant, or even what it is. I haven't heard of "Pixcoin" before and to be honest chances are it really wouldn't be beneficial because there are too few people who even know what Pixcoin is. Ethereum is the second biggest cryptocurrency and it's not used for game buying and so and it is used far less than Bitcoin is, so why add this "Pixcoin"?

I think pixel coins it's not too bad for becoming another name of bitcoin in the game because in my minds the word will more easy to remember.  and the fact bitcoin is also a pixel.
