I am sure reading several threads regarding mining that majorly its not a profit anymore. Unless government provide you subsidy.

Government Subsidy is not a profit.  That is robbing one person to benefit another.

Government subsidy is the last thing we need in Bitcoin.

As to make a profit in Bitcoin one would have to mine and hold the coins until they increase in value.  But that is hard to do with the amount of hardware required now.

if you have enough money to purchase everything(including the electricity cast) you can do it with no issue.

I don't know why people comparing real mining to cloudmining, and i only think the only comparison for both is they have mining in their name, and the truth their is cloudmining is just made by those scammers who wants to make their site looks more adorable for newbie people so they will invest on it, and maybe other's name it useless since blocks for bitcoin are more harder to get for each years passes maybe they are just focusing on bitcoin and not for the other altcoin.

Yes of course, after hachocean, CLDMine and other cloud mining as scam, we must much learn to never believe again to cloud mining that for RoI not more than 5 months.

For me there's a little bit hard in mining because we dont know whether the sites are paying, but I saw also more people earning in many sites. I hope there's a sure mining already and no scam site.

So it's not so easy, you said it yourself.   Also you should find money for buying a miner or two which is more than $2k in case of two miners. Another problem is a room to place your miners because it's impossible to live where they are running because of the noize. And I think I haven't mentioned all the problems here so, yeah, it's not easy at all.

I know that for me and many members here mining's a fun, nerdy hobby. We're doing it because we still can and we try to balance our costs with our earnings.

But as an interesting fact, mining difficulty COULD go down. Who knows if it does in the future...

does anyone have any good blogs or mailing lists that discuss mining?
I read the posts on this forum, the Kano pool thread has really good information, and any post by Philipma1957 or Mustangdan or any of those guys is good info,
but if anyone else can recommend another good source of mining info, it would be greatly appreciated!

They are many legit out there so better to try coinmarket cap to choose if what altcoin is the best try to choose you want the top 20 coinmarketcap  they are many altcoin that you can mine with gpu mining rig..

In every investment there is also always risk. And we can't deny the fact that there are lots od people and sites that arr scams. So before joininh that pool in a ceryain site. Make sure to have a research first on the sitr you are mining to if they are paying or they have a good reputation so your efforts, time and money will not turn to nothing.

Again and again.. it told you by many times. those mining sites are cloudmining and they do not belong to mining at any point.
bitcoin mining is not related to any website. you can just buy pool or hashes. but they sites won't pay you anything.. you need to use your own computer and hardware to mine bitcoin yourself.
first please understand what mining is.
