I have a few friends interested in getting one of the over-priced batch #2 pre-order AVALON rigs up for sale now and thought about opening it up to more people.
Will be able to get one of the early units that should be shipping in 2 weeks and will be good to get some mining in before the flood.
Been running some numbers and will have 2000 total shares at $10 a piece. Found a better deal which could drop total # of shares to 1500.

This is a lifetime thing. You're buying a piece of the AVALON.
If there comes a time when the AVALON makes a better doorstop then miner, I'll break it up into 2500 little pieces and mail you a piece.
Already have $10k into hardware and will be using that to reinvest in more hardware/updates/electrical & maintenance.

Given current difficulty & BTC you'll have your $10 investment per share back in 25 days. (bitcoinX)

For the first 2 months revenue will be sent out weekly via BTC.
Then bi-weekly for the following 4 months and then finally monthly.
Shares can be transferred/sold at any time.

0 of 1500 shares remaining at $10 each

EDIT: Found a cheaper AVALON so lowered number of total shares... Again  Grin

This guy hasn't offered any sort of proof that he bought a unit or what sort of credibility he has here on the forums/IRL. Smells fishy.

Tread with caution my friends.

Hey just edited original and dropped the total number of shares as I've found a lower priced unit & PMs sent.

Currently I'm gathering funds to purchase one of the inflated-price early-order batch #2 units that will go through escrow and be shipped to me in CA, USA where I'll run it. If there is enough interest, I'll gladly raise the total # of shares to purchase 2. But as of now, just getting 1.

I've got no clue how the BTC market & difficulty will look in a year as soon as batch 3 & BFL start shipping, so the idea is to get one as early as possible from Batch 2 up running.

All BTC that it brings in will be divided by the total # shares and sent out weekly for the first few months as it should be generating quite a bit. Then bi-weekly and eventually monthly/yearly if the difficulty ever gets crazy.

Operation/maintenance fees that will be associated with it will come out of my shares.

I've been reading up on mining contracts and how others are run, having a small core group of regular owners for the lifetime of the hardware sounded the best to me.

You can sell/transfer as often as you'd like, with no fees.

I've looked in to setting up a Corp in the US, but that will come with all sort of fun taxes and regulations which is what BTC isn't really all about.

Will have a site for owners to login and see the status, income & payments made.

If you're located in CA and want to grab a drink sometime, I'm up for that to...

Here buddy let me help you out... go to the Custom Hardware subforum and check out how legit coop mining operations get into motion.

You're going to need a lot more than what you've got to be taken seriously.

Just an update, currently the highest bidder on a unit while talking with another seller for the possibility of getting 2x.

Currently 600 shares available for 1x

There has also been quite a few questions about the "life time" term. I'm sure there will come a time when the next version of hardware is released where running this will no longer be generating much, if anything. What that point is and what we do after is open for discussion. Selling the hardware off and splitting that up is one such idea...

Hi Ares

I will be purchasing roughly 20 bitcoins late next week if current exchange rates persist. I am interested in making this type of investment but wonder what incentive there is for me to trust you. Have you got an estimated shipping date for this system? Perhaps I could cancel the bitcoin buy and papal you my investment in USD with the option to dispute if you don't come through, or if you can think of a better system for protecting investment I'd be happy to learn it. Please PM me any details.

PMs all sent out.

This is going to be for an early order Batch #2 unit and should be shipping, directly to me, April 15th as per the AVALON web site. Will be buying from a reputable user on the forum and going through escrow until confirmation comes from AVALON that change of address/ownership has been received.

400 shares left and it looks like we should be able to bring the total number of shares down to 1500.
