Technology is great, but today I saw a vinyl record cover, which were before my time, and I thought, it must have felt awesome going to the store and buying one of those and enjoying it, vs having an unlimited supply of music and jumping from song to song.

Its true that technology has taken us to that point where we can even think of impossible but there are many counter-effects that human race is  facing after this advancement in technology ......  wars , global warming , terrorism , time for family etc ........ Do u really think that technology is hurting us more than benefiting us ?

Well it depends on the acceptation or vision of individuals also how we think about this things as we embrace the advance technology we need to accept the fact that in some reasons it benefits us ,advance technology helps us a lot .it made things work easier and faster.  
Advance technology have advantage and disadvantage also it depends on how we use it and how it reflects on our daily lives .abusing so much use of technologies is not good in our health and mind like that wars,global warming, time for family we can manage this things as long as we are openminded about the things happening to us .

As the technological capabilities increase, those who cannot get skills that a machine cannot do will lose their job. Ultimately, this is a self-fulfilling prophecy. It's only a matter of time before the technology is there to replace your job. If your job is complicated, you may have several decades until your retirement. There are some exceptions to this rule, like politicians, hookers, dentists, but I think 99% of the people do not fall within that range. On the long term capitalism cannot sustain itself because there are no longer people with money to buy the goods and services.

Technology may have the potential to save humanity on the long term, the sun has a limited lifespan and we need to move or find a way to survive if we as a species want to survive.
The damage done by technology may prevent a livable environment. The only certainty in life is that you are doomed, so have some fun along the way

I can confirm, that's something that used to be absolutely awesome    it doesn't even compare to today's deluge of everything, accessible through a few clicks from your house. I've never actually bought any vinyl records, I'm talking about buying Mega Drive games in the early nineties as a kid. I would go to the store with my parents and I would be standing there for ages deciding on the game to pick for my birthday. These days, I still enjoy gaming a lot and I can get any game I want almost instantly but the thrill and fun of getting the game is completely gone

The numbers are important because of scale. Making a house with 10 people is easier than alone. A pyramid would require many more people.

If you decode the scriptures you can read they had different types of slaves with a variety of social status. The writing is enough proof for me. If you take a look at the corpse of a mummy, you will see that there is nothing particularly unusual about it. They look almost identical to modern humans except a lot smaller.

So, you see? I find your argument very confusing. I don't think God bothers with minuscule details of the universe such as an individual human life. If you have an aquarium of 20x20x20 meters, would you focus only on the life of one fish?

you are totally right.. modern people are too weak to handle some physically demanding works . on the other hand, modern people are more clever than their ancestors. With more population and less work, the work that remains will be more precarious, with lower wages and worse conditions. Because of this in countries like Finland have been approved the Universal Basic Income and others such as Netherlands and Switzerland are studying.

Apart from this, technological advances make life easier for us even though Hollywood is obsessed with making us hate technology or scientific progress.

It is very strange that you are talking about the fact that Hollywood is very much agitating against high technologies and yet they themselves are using them. Perhaps some of this has an impact on humanity in only one minimal way.

As we divulged ourselves in development we became focus on the issues on economy and we have treated our natural resources as a tool to increase profit without considering the after effects of our actions. I think technology is obviously very beneficial for us. Communication technology, Transport technology and others. We are made easier to communicate with anyone and anywhere. We can go anywhere faster by sea or air lines. We can also share information throughout the world, Technology is very helpful to human life.
