How do you do to invest in casinos such as safedice ?  Or am I totally wrong and you're just gambling ? |

There is no legit place to invest bitcoins at a moment, so I am simply buying them and holding them for future and sometimes I invest few of them in altcoin trading to make quick profits.

I think the safest of investment data statistics is trying to invest in poloniex. stable and does not really give a great loss
Yes but poloniex return are much lower then casino. It's risk:reward. You can earn much higher returns in a ponzi, but ultimately lose your entire investment in a scam. Dealing with a high degree of fraud in everything bitcoin, perhaps people are more comfortable with the lower returns of a more reputable investment than all these casinos that are riskier to send your coins to. Poloniex can also run away with btc or get hacked. Some casino have been around longer then poloniex. Bitfinex was very "trusted" and it was 3% rate a year on lending out. I think to many people underestimate risk on exchanges. thats right we cant really say if the exchange are safe but as of now polo really gives some decent earnings so thats maybe a lots of people here got more interest to invest. |

Or am I totally wrong and you're just gambling ? you are investing in the site's bankroll. it means the money that site uses to pay its users. when someone cashes out his winning or the rest of his money. it is risky and the risk is a little smaller than gambling itself because the house always wins and when you share in the win/loss of the house you should technically also always win. |

Although it is risky but you have the edge so it is still a better investment on your part, and if a certain gambler wins that does not mean you will lose all your investment because it will always base on proportion of your investment, that'sh how it works and I can recommend investing in gambling sites. |

To my opinion investing in casinos is not real investing, it's more like gambling. Every investing caries certain risk but this one is too big for my taste. And if you underestimate the risk and don't have the back up plan you might end with big loses. So just be careful and think twice about your investing strategy.

Either gambling or gambling sites are risky to make an investment and the percentage of making loss in higher then that of profits, so I will avoid that choice instead I will go with altcoin trading. |

May have to reconsider Safe Dice as an investment instrument. It is constantly down.
P2P is a no go. I had a sea of red.
Poloniex is a safe instrument, but returns are low.
HaoBTC has low annual returns - plus the fact it is offshore (based in China), makes it less attractive but it is proven as a legitimate mining operation based in China.

Yes its pretty difficult to find any of the places to invest your bitcoins where return and safety is guaranteed.There is risk in lending as there are many scammers around and also investing in ICO doesnt guarantee the profits. |

Are you investing the same amount in every site for the purpose of controlling variables, or different amounts?
Diffrent amounts. % is same if invest 1 btc or 100 btc. If you're using leverage in any of the casino sites that offer it, the ROI will not track related to how much is invested. That will create differences for comparison purposes in that the ROI is outsized compared to an investment someplace else that does not permit leveraged investments. At that point, the comparison is no longer apples:apples. |

Of course, my point was only that the number of casinos that have stolen funds is higher than the number of exchanges that have, and now that exchanges are looking to be regulated entities to ensure trust by their customers, they are even more stable. The casino sites mostly operate in the shadows because what they do is blatantly illegal in most of the jurisdictions they operate in. Not only do you have the risk of the operator staying faithful, but the legal risk on top of it. |

There is a diffrence between sites that have proven over time, and site has a bitcointalk thread you can look into. Then a completly new site and have no information. |

It would be smart decision if we don't invest our money in any investment site as most of them will turn scam in long run and won't pay us single penny, its better to hold them instead of investing them anywhere. |
