well damn... didn't see that coming.

edit:
for those who don't understand. I'd suggest waiting for OP to prove that he's the real owner before sending anything to that newly generated address.

Looks like the total losses so far are 2.35927 BTC.

The hacker shouldn't get too far though.

And he has wrong made the thread too, should he make the thread on discussion services not at services announcement. And I think there are not people who believe in this thread because there are valid support in btcjam.

Greetings, I regret to inform you that at this moment, BTCJam is being hacked. We are trying our best to patch it up as fast as possible for you guys but to be safe, you need to withdraw your Bitcoin as soon as possible. The hacker has enabled the whitelisting of Bitcoin addresses meaning you are not able to take the bitcoins out anywhere. We have added our own backup emergency address for this issue.

1D6yNg5dbiTQHRj4USxsywSbZkgCRrF77z

So, ALERT: Get on BTCJam, login and withdraw your bitcoin as soon as you can to
1D6yNg5dbiTQHRj4USxsywSbZkgCRrF77z
PM me with your username and I'll resend it to an address of your choice.

This will most likely be fixed in 1-2 days. Transparency is the best option.

Lol! are you sure? Do you think people will believe for just a thread post claiming that btcjam is hack? What a fool excuse, can you show some proofs that your claim is truly existing? Because if you are just yelling here and just do some post that you are hack well provably people will not listen for this lies, just show some docu proofs or anything leads that hacking issue is really happens on btcjam, so people would find it legit and not an inside job.

doesn't matter if he is the real owner or not, even if he is, why i would withdraw my funds in btcjam and send him to his address if i can just withdraw it directly to my address right?

@OP shame on you. don't you have decent job to feed your family?

Nice try dude, no one would fall for  that scam attempt and its too obvious after all and i saw the newly generated address doesnt have  a fund even a single cent means  no  one believes you. haha. Why we should   transfer our funds on that address if we can  directly withdraw to our accounts. Are you dumb?

What a noob reason for him to state this one, i think he plan this for a long time and turned scam whn h see's he can earn enough by peoples money. So better people would not send on what address he is posting out there OP is scammer.
