2 months are remaining and then 2017 will start so I dont think so that price of bitcoin will reach 1200$, because it is almost double amount that is going right now. I would say that the price will be in between 800$ to 900$ at the end of this year.

The fact is that people thought the bitcoin would go to a higher amount due to the halving that was incoming back in the days, at the end it never really did a lot for us with that price but that is the reason in the overall.

The volume yesterday can be compared to that of two months ago when the price was recovering from a knee jerk reaction to the bitfinex hacking incident.

This is correct.all expert in speculation will come out and try to predict what will the outcome of the price of bitcoin but suddenly not all speculators are correct or hit the speculating price of the bitcoin.Bitcoin movement is just like sports example basketball.the more speculator say's that one team will win, people are so much interested to place bet on that team because it strong then suddenly  in the end they loose.for me not always trust the speculation perhaps better study the movement of the bitcoin and then try to analyse what will be the next price

No idea why they would predict that high of a price but those "professional predicters" are just a bunch of amateurs aswell

It was predicted that bitcoin price for this year will go up to 1.2k but that didnt happened until now so i think that for this year the maximum price that bitcoin can go is 700-800 USD, everything can happen but I'm based on the latest trend this year until now.
