This rig is worth no more than 2.5BTC. I don't know who would spend double.

Even cheaper. Get a 1000W psu for $150 or less.

I'd pick up 1-2 @ 3-3.5 BTC each (With Escrow) just because I like the case and think it's a clean setup. I am in the U.S. OP PM if you are interested.

FOR RENT.

Not with the cable job and open air frame. Which is why I'm willing to pay 3 BTC+ which I think is a fair price.

Well 2 BTC would be the GPUs alone. But for 2.5BTC-3BTC or so you could get the entire rig up and running.

I wouldn't waste money on expensive aluminum open rigs just use regular $2 wood from Home Depot.

If the OP is genuinely getting out of ETH mining he can sell everything very close to retail or for 3 BTC but overpaying by $1000 is just not worth it. We are all computer nerds and can figure out how to build these rigs ourselves anyways. Plus there are many guides and videos online.

So him getting almost retail pricing is very generous considering these 470s are available almost everywhere these days.

The problem is that since you can't ship the entire rig the way it stands, the labour I guess is pointless, since whoever buys it has to assemble it themselves.

No doubt labor isn't a thing, and even if it was it's more than cancelled out by possible wear from mining with the cards shortening their life span.

Just wanted throw my 2¢ in aluminum cases are much better for transferring of heat. Wood is an insulator witch means it would trap the heat in side if you made a case lol.

If it was enclosed in wood I would agree but its just a couple of sticks to hold the GPUs up, it won't restrict much heat either.

GPUs you can resell for like 50% from retail but all the money you waste buying aluminum to build the GPU rig will be wasted because you can't resell that.

Would you buy an S9 without the case for the same price? Given he is asking to much but the case is worth the amount for material plus a couple of dollars aluminum is very light so it most likely would not cost that much depending on where shipping to.

Obviously this is for people that want the whole setup I agree with Philip maybe plus a couple of dollars as its plug and play.

But not what OP is asking.
