I made a transfer between two bitcoin wallets both on Electrum transferring from my normal computer to one on tails. I sent the bitcoins to my Electrum on tails but It wasn't connected so I turned if off and restored the wallet with my seed. After I restored the wallet the bitcoins were not in my wallet, I double checked the recieve code and they both match so I am not sure what is the problem?

Is the electrum wallet showing an outgoing transaction? If so, please post details to the transaction so we can check the blockchain what happened.

You can also try connecting to a different server. Make sure to pick a full server (with an F next to it).

take these steps:
1) check your wallet that you sent from to see if the transaction is really sent and confirmed
2) for the ease of your own mind, double check your addresses on an online block explorer like blockchain.info (enter your BTC address) and see if the transaction is sent and confirmed.
3.1) now if it wasn't sent then that is your problem
3.2) if it was sent from your first wallet then check out your second to make sure your Electrum is connected to a server and is receiving click on the network button on the bottom right corner and see if you have the latest blockchain (by the time of writing this there are 429077 blocks mined)

...You can also try connecting to a different server. Make sure to pick a full server (with an F next to it).

Tails is using TOR to connect to internet so i guess he should use a TOR server like this (fdkhv2bb7hqel2e7.onion) but i am not sure since i never used it.

also where is that F you are talking about i don't see it? can you post an screenshot

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.
Whales are those who keep buying the dip.
