Asus Radeon HD 7850 2gbGDDR5
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121651

Default: 860 Mhz GPU / 1200 Mhz Memory

At that rate i get 340-360 khash/s according to GUIminer...

Overclocked to

1050mhz gpu / 1450hmz mem
and it goes 350-370 khash/s...

using GUIminer ver of cgminer

threadcon: 15508
vectors: 1
gpu threads: 1
use stratum: no
flags: none
worksize: 256

Intensity 14 will get me 300-330 and i can use computer without it being crap

Intensity 17 ill get me 350+ but pc cant be used.

on the cmd ver i got...

cgminer --scrypt -o http://xxxxxx:xxxx -u user.1 -p x --shaders 12404 --intensity 16 --worksize 256 -g 1

made the bat file with egEasy, cause i dont know how to really use the cmd ver... but it gets me 340 khash/sec with them settings

Hardware errors. You shouldn't be getting any, I got a couple within seconds on those settings.

CGminer. 7850's are just a bitch for scrypt - at least in my experience. I get 330 Mhash/sec easy but nothing I do for khash works.

i am running a rig with 6x msi 7850 and i am getting 400kHs at least out of every one. 3 are better so i get around 415 kHs Smiley

Bought them cheap for 122€ so it is 2.40 kHs to 2.45 kHs for only 730 € Smiley

i have never tested btc though ...

Clocks?

1200 engine, 1225 to 1200 mem (has nearly no impact).
default clocks are 900:1200 (they overclock like a beast).

i had to raise vcore for 2-4% to get 1200mhz stable.
some cards are with 1.21 default vcore, some are 1.138 and one is 1.075.
1.21 is stable @ 1150 (max vcore is 1.225)
1.138 @ 1.184 with 1200 mhz. --> maybe more is possible
1.075 @ 1.09x with 1200 mhz. --> also more possible

oc memory doesn't bring anything to the table. clocking from 1200 to 1225 only brings 1.x kHs more. lol. i  am just doing it for christs sake Smiley

I don't get it why to buy 7950 cards when these are maybe 30% more efficient.

Got 2x msi 7850 2gb oc 1.138 and can't oc engine more than 1150 (stable), best results 360 kh/s with 1050/1250...

yeah even with best results:

250€ 7950 @ 650 = 2,6 kHs per €
130€ 7850 @ 400 = 3,1 kHs per €

7850 20% better performance (and i am not even couting W)

That is true. I have the same results.
You have to increase VCore slowly (5 mV steps) --> my cgminer will crash only if something went wrong

you will get around 396 kHs with 1150.

1150/1200 - 300 kh/s
1150/1250 - 330 kh/s
1050/1250 - 360 kh/s
thats extremely strange Shocked

got ?

only 1 GB onboard.
Tc should be really high --> i need 12k to get no HW errors.
Intens --> 19
You should not have to increase mem to get better performance.
also the higher the engine clock the better...
