6 RX 480 Sapphire 8GB gives 735 S/s on optiminer zcash on ubuntu system ~ 13,8$ per day.

So, as time goes on, with the price remaining the same, it would earn even more?

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

if you mean because of the block reward that is climbing every day, then no because the diff will likely catch up with it

this with the price drop with surely put a dent on the earning

I agree with that. By the end of this month, the price could be 50% of the current value and the difficulty could be a bit higher.

I agree with that. All the major altcoins will have the same profit to mine as miners will switch between the coins.

Which is incorrect, the hashrate for nvidia is wrong on whattomine for Zcash Smiley Also why do you think Zcash has more potential to grow? As it seems for me it is very overpriced compared to other cryptos.

No one knows zcash future price, otherwise he would be damn rich. IMHO it will grow, so it's worth mining nowadays

Pretty obvious consideration  Wink

Making predictions in a certain market it's just utter BS.

because it's brand new and the hype is still there, and remember that at least one coin per year will be pumped regardless of the marketcap, the price or anything else

i'm getting nearly the same as whattomine say with zcash(0.1 zcash daily with 6 x1070 hashing at 740 sol), so i dunno where you see that is wrong

Many altcoins today that gives you profit you can choose any thing you want. But make sure that coins gives you profit. Choose wisely buy ether, monero and keep it because that coins if good to long term invest.

Hi Folks,

I do not mind any altcoin (hype, crap, scam, ...) at all,
I keep my few small rigs running against nicehash for BTC,
as long, as I can ROI with my high electricity-costs.

The hashing power with the gtx 1070 is around 220 with the nheq miner. It is, of course locked, but still gives by far the best profits for nvidia cards.

i don't like that it's locked, and anyway it's better to mine ethereum currently, one thing i noticed is that the estimate on the 1070 is wrong if you use the 1070 field, i don't use that i just put my hash there on whattomine
