What do you say?

It seems Clinton being all in on Goldman Sachs will be for Bitcoin.

Trump on the other hand seems to have something else in mind.

I do not even understand what this topic about. To back bitcoin? Isn't bitcoin more popular in States then anywhere else? I heard it will be open first ATM that accept bitcoins exactly in the USA. And I think the first bank that will work with bitcoin will be opened there as well.

I would say neither but if I had to pick one.

Hillary seems pretty set in her ways and has been in politics FOREVER
and would take the safe route by not backing it. I could see moron trump
somehow getting a stake in some and of course if it benefits him he would
back it.
well there's also another candidate beside of those two,and i think from it there's also few candidate that know bitcoin or even supporting it,i wonder why people only consider hillary and trump as the "only" candidate when anothers are exist and could potentially be even better than these two

Neither candidate will outright show support for bitcoin, both will have knowledge on the existence of bitcoin or if they do not it would really surprise me.

Regarding all the talk of the rigging of elections and Clinton stealing it from Trump, wouldn't it be a perfect use for the blockchain.

Neither. None of them will 'back' bitcoin. If they do, they're gonna get a lot of heat/flak from the banking institutions, etc. Detractors would say, 'see, they'd rather support a foreign/digital currency than our own currency'. Patriotism and so on.  Especially since bitcoin/crypto users are a very very small minority. On the other hand, US is known as top world power, also one of the leaders in innovation and such, so.. nah. Extremely unlikely.

The better question would be: who will impose further regulations against Bitcoin?
I do not see any of the two main candidates, Clinton or Trump, outright endorsing Bitcoin.

If anyone would endorse it it would be Jill Stein or Gary Johnson.

Since bitcoin is a decentralized currency I highly doubt Trump would support any such thing US has not contol over. Moreover most bitcoin mining is in China which is another reason Trump would try to kill bitcoin

None of them will back Bitcoin. And I really hope Bitcoin will never be in a position of needing backing by politicians. That's the case for fiat money. Bitcoin is backed by strong cryptography and I think it is highly important that development focuses on security. In my opinion we also need improvements regarding the privacy of transactions (stealth transactions if possible), otherwise with government sponsored blockchain analysis and blacklisting, Bitcoin's fungibility and thus the whole currency could be at risk.

I think, when governments realize that the age of the fiat Ponzi is coming to an end, they will desperately fight against all alternatives, because the fiat debt system is their main source of power. Bitcoin must be prepared for that.

ya.ya.yo!
I secondly agree with you...I don't think bitcoin backed by any political candidates or aspirate, security and focus is needed..

Gary Johnson doesn't know what Aleppo is, I doubt is he can actually back anything other than is lawn mower into the garage.

The candidate that will support it the most is Gary Johnson (Libertarian).

He's also the most qualified candidate...isn't being investigated for illegal activity, hasn't been caught in a lie about his public affairs, doesn't come across as a self-entitled ass, the list goes on but I'll digress.

What do you mean by "back". Do you mean promote? Advance the acceptance of? Or do you mean not be an enemy to bitcoin. I don't think Clinton or Trump know anything about bitcoin, let alone would they understand or appreciate it. So as long as they're not trying to limit the use of bitcoin, their essential backing it.
But I never see Gary john is like the another candidate is always appearing on the media and I think Gary is not included in the candidate at this time, sorry if I'm wrong but that is according to my brain, because to rarely for finding Gary johnson in media in this time.
And Gary is a candidate who is accept bitcoin donation in his campaign?

He's a candidate but he will never win.

this is an interesting question, since the next 5 years might be big for bitcoin and a us president backing it might play a role in it, but right know i do not think it is on the radar. and as they have many advisers it is hard to answer the question. but as always in politics if the time is right and it will be discussed, then they will make a decision based on the question "does backing help me win votes?".

Yeah I was pretty baffled when I read that to be honest, but he does already accept Bitcoin donations.
I wouldn't go as far to say that he endorses Bitcoin, but it's at least noteworthy.

I ever read about that, but seems like just for donations but I don't know about the real implementation of bitcoin if Gary becoming the Next US president but that just like a dream because the main voice is already held by Clinton and trump.

I think in the next few years will allow the US president to build a market economy bitcoin. US as a country would want to be a pioneer of the development of a financial system that is renewable. they want to remain a superpower country.

Neither Clinton or Trump will back Bitcoin. They will have much more trouble - let's remember, that US have very high debt from many countries, so they will have what to think, when they will be in the White House. Bitcoin have only small niche in whole FIAT world. Grin

Both lean towards protectionism so the chances are slim for either party endorsing bitcoin in the fashion we would want to see here.
Hilary has the greater chance of actually attacking bitcoin I would think due to her contributions toward her war chest coming from vested interests.
Would not expect either to forward bitcoin in the long run.
