I already sent a signed message following the thread instructions to admins a few days ago, but it seems account recovery is low priority, so I am making a thread here as a notice/warning.

None of the posts created in 2016 are by me.

I posted btc address here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=195647.msg2281646#msg2281646

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Have not used bitcointalk since 2014, but landed on some thread on this forum a few days ago and tried to login to my old account. Noticed someone else was using the account then. I am trying to recover now because I just found out recently. Seems someone hacked the account in april this year when I check post history.

Use a stong unique password that you are not using anywhere else, make sure your pc is clean and antivirus-spyware is always up to date and beware of fake pm's that will lead you to a fake bitcointalk.org website to get your password .
