Total weight = 8g
Fine gold weight = 7.315g (just encase you are working out spot value)

Yes, pictures would be appreciated. As markj113 has pointed out, there is just under 1/4 Troy ounce of pure gold in that coin. Happy to make you an offer for it, but would like pics, and I would require escrow if a deal was agreed.

Yep, I offered the OP an amount in BTC that was the equivalent of the cheapest on eBay in similar condition, plus I added $10.

These are not rare. At all. There are a ton of these coins out there, and why should anyone pay more than Spot + 10% for this? As that seems about right to me.

OP, I think you need to resign yourself to the fact that are not going to get anywhere near 1 BTC for this coin. Sorry  

If you had an 1877 British Sovereign as the post initially indicated, the offer would have been a fair amount higher, maybe much more - dependant on the condition.

Well you can't compare this coin with mine.
In this coin you can't even see the numbers and pictures properly.  It's damage.  Mine is much better conserved just look my pictures.

That only adds a small premium. You're lucky if you get $450 -$500 for your coin.
