I probably shouldn't be trying to answer you because im not well versed in mining, although your screenshot says your mining in "scrypt" algorythm. This is an sha256 crypto.. hopefully this helps

I tried searching on google, I just found how mining LTC then I edit scrypt bat as in zayedcoin

It is a sha256 coin, you have the mine it like Bitcoin or similar, try with miner.exe -algo=sha256d -o stra......................................... (the same you put always) but you should know actually there are really big miners, dont hope to get coins mining with the cpu

my problem is I can't get the wallet to install(windows). i keep getting prompted to choose a program to open the file with and nothing i choose works. and as far as making coins.... well that would have been nice, but for now, since i haven't mined before, i'd like to get a miner running as least to understand the process a little bit... i have to go to work but i'll be back in a little while.

you need to use -a sha256  in your line its defaulting to scrypt algo and this is sha256 coin.

Agree if its POW and has no premine then its no scam at all. Kinda hard to scam when everyone starts on the same level of playing field.

This coin is simple inocent and honest as much as it can be. No matter who launched it. What do you expect? Every day new developers to be born ? Thats similar to that if expect everyday engineer or doctor to be born.
Only way to get coins is to mine them. Take it or leave.
0% premine, no ICO, so no room for scam there. Every one in this cryptoworld decides for himself. If no profit gained, then blame yourself, not the coin or develoeper. No one forces anyone here. Its free will.
