It is not cheating. I've played on many sites, and have seen some cheating here and there. There are just some very very loose players on FJ. Also if you have an overwhelmingly large stack it can make sense, against the right opponent, to just shove over and over. Because as the largest stack you only have to win once in order to get all the chips. So you are actually ahead when you consider the odds of winning one hand on x6 shoves, even with inferior hands. Or more likely he was just some drunk crazy Argentinian ...
Bottom line, I've found the cash games extremely loose and profitable. And yes, those loose players will have their moments in the sun.

Wow I always wondered if cheating and other dishonest things were possible online. I know people can cheat offline but I never knew about online. Hopefully some sort of moderation system will be implemented towards cheaters.

You had better contact admin about problematic hand id, let admins check the issue. Admin will ban cheaters there. FJ is a famous casino, they will punish the cheaters, void their winnings.

this is why i never liked online Poker, you can never tell. if the opponent is cheating or not and i am not talking about this particular situation but in general, the feeling of being cheated an not being able to do anything except leave is the worst thing that made me leave online poker.
How legit games are are down to the site owners. You can find plenty of legit games though  . If you are hugely worried you can always pick heads up where its impossible to be cheated against unless site is hacked. |

Oh, this is interesting. Are you talking about online Poker cheaters who had access to 'inside' information and knew other people's cards or something? If yes, then please tell us where did you spot cheaters. Personally I think that situation Op described is not enough to tell if that guy was cheating. Most likely it was totally random strategy of a newbie player who got lucky. |

That's what I thought it was a house bot but it responded to me in chat which eliminated that idea Maybe is this some computer automated player, not human being. Maybe is some security breach and someone malware is beeing planted. There could be a lot explanations.
i think if there is really a cheating going on, then it is the first one. there must be a bot in the background posing as a human and playing aginst you and most probably it is the house itself because a hack would be caought soon but the hosue can do it forever and has access to all the hands. |

I don't understand, your proof of cheating is someone went all in few times and won with sht cards? I can only say i did same thing on one poker site, when i was pushing all ins with really bad cards, and lots of people accused me of cheating because i was actually winning! But what I had was really bad day and i was just pushing it. So, it doesn't mean if someone is going all in that he is cheating.
2 guys on other table, well, that could be cheating. Problem is this is online poker and its really hard to prove anything, you can find yourself playing cash game on table with group of cheaters sharing their hands and taking money from everyone who come to their table.

Well obvious if you heads up unless the other player can see your cards he cant cheat against you. If there are 3 or more players at a table then 2+ of them can be colluding in a number of different ways. |

I do agree on some comments especially Chief Maku .i think that was not a cheat it all based on the players stratedgy .this is a kind of bluff which makes you pick a wrong move that make you lose .i don't play poker gambling site but as i imagine that play it is surely stratedgy not a cheat .how can he cheat online poker over the real poker users.

Could just be variance and a guy who temporarily said fuck it and played some bad hands.
Is it at all possible to look at someone's hand history there?
If he was doing this with 200+ bad hands in a short time or something like that, then I would consider calling it cheating or at least highly suspicious.

I have been playing poker for some time elsewhere and I saw something very suspicious with a player on Fortunejack after playing there for the first time today! I noticed a player who played normal but would go all in pre flop on shit hands and win 100% of those games! Why would someone who played well would go all in out of position on the worse hand ever 5-8 off suit??? It was beyond obvious this person knew the outcome of the game pre flop!!! He doesn't pull that off once but on multiple occasions like he was showing off his ability! The second time around I decided to call him when he goes all in AGAIN pre flop! He goes all in with an 8-6 off suit another shitty hand and wins that also! I've never seen something so obvious that someone knew the outcome pre flop! Does this mean Fortunejack has rigged poker games where they play against players or does it mean someone could have hacked into there software? Anyone else notice suspicious players on this site?
I went to another table and two players who where chip leaders playing with each other like they where sharing there cards.
I reported the likely cheater to Fortunejack but if it might be in house they will likely do nothing about it. I will keep everyone posted on what happens

Specially if the players are with few big blinds... 5 to 10... It's all about strategy, maybe OP it's just a newbie... |

if a site wants to cheat you it doesn't need a dumb player who shoves every hand and wins  why would they make it so obvious if they can know the outcomes or rig the game somehow !! probably your sample is small , especially that you are talking about one specific player so just give him the bingo tag , and come back and take his money later |

I find that a lot of the play is due to field size if you are playing in the freerolls on Fortunejack. Its not unusual for players to snap call with atc and suck out 6 handed. As for the connection this is the site that I was told by a Argentinian player after hounding them forever about it: red argentina de poker The link: http://rapoker.com.ar/A few dynamics that fall into these games is some of the players really dislike North Americans and they will play differently against them. Reason I created a new account and labeled its location as Argentina,find it gets me not many but a few easy rides near bubble that I would not have got otherwise. As for cheating,you really can not trust any of these sites due to how long it takes them to investigate a issue. Watch the amount of late registrations and how many accounts are sitting out to wake up and shove. Thats usually a pretty good tell. Mark them and be prepared next time is all you can do,besides playing tag. |
