Bitcoin donate button in Wordpress

Dear cryptomaniacs,

I have been looking for a simple bitcoin donate button for about 2 weeks and I am unable to find any good solution. Every single Wordpress plugin does not work, has been not updated for at least 2 years. I am desperate. The best solution I was able to find was this: https://wordpress.org/plugins/bitcoin-donate-button/ and it looks really great here http://lxer.eu/wordpress-bitcoin-button/ (demo) but unfortunately it does not work on the newest Wordpress 4.6.1 and the Newspaper theme which I use to create free from advertisement bitcoin news website. The author of this plugin just left this project so there is no update. My question is, do you know maybe similar elegant solution for a bitcoin donation button which could appear under each Wordpress post?

Which dont you try to contact the dev of this addon make a donation to him upgrade his plug-in and give you some credit on his plug-in description , or even better why dont you use a QR code

have you considered bitpay? I dunno if they charge for bitcoin only stuff but even if they do it might work out cheaper than paying for a wordpress plugin. i'm sure there's gotta be better options but maybe it's worth a look.

Best option would be to use bitpay API because I have full trust in bitpay api and already many website user is already using it. How you like my suggestion. If anyone of you have better solution then please quote my reply.

you can use bitpay api solutions and also you can try searching on the web about wordpress plugins on adding donate button which will you give some details to solve the plugin issue .

Just search for bitcoin donation button API's.I'd recommend using blockchain.info's since it's the easiest to set-up.
