It's the FCC regulations that must be stringently adhere to, of which Josh adamantly claimed they were awaiting results back in a couple weeks back in September, for the FCC was still testing the units that weren't even built yet. To date, they still don't have a working unit to send out for testing.

You aren't hinting that BFL/Josh lied to us, are you?

He wouldn't! Would be? He couldn't! Could he? >.<#

My bad! November 3, and not September.

When is the Jalapeno getting FCC approval?

Maybe two weeks? We are waiting for the test lab to issue the test report.

With the bump in power requirements on the MR and the new screen, we had to make changes, although the new screen is already certified.  We are doing all the devices at once, since they all share the same board.

How to know that Inaba/BFL_Josh is lying:
(a) when he opens his mouth.
(b) when he uses the term "in two weeks".

You guys are so silly. Do you see an FCC cert on an Avalon? Do you see a UL cert on an Avalon? What makes you think an Avalon has less of a chance of burning down a house than a BFL?

Maybe this here? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=160406.msg1706353#msg1706353

(in the meantime BFL changed the casings because of cooling/heat issues - now they have two of those heatinks that are shown on the left)
