If you ask me, i used to addicted to gambling but stopped after suffer big losses even though i'm still in profit.

For me no because I am just playing so rarely in a month because I am just doing that because I am bored. So for me I am not addicted to it.

-Answering the OP title, I can't be considered my self as a Addicted gambler even though i play weekly because being an addicted means it is out of control which is not my case because I have limitation and rules to be follow and I'm strict to that rule.

I think I am not addicted to gambling because I am not into habitual playing of gambling games and I can control myself when I won and I don't bet for more. I only gamble occationaly and I don't bet for large amounts of money, and even I am lossing in the game  I don't wanted to recover my losses because for me it's only fun games and not a serious matter with regards to money making, and if we see an addicted gambler he has a strong effort to to bet for more in order to win for more just to recover the losses from previous games.

It is good thinking, when we have control ourself especially in gambling. Because if we lose one step in gambling than its mean we lose ourself and also our money. So in gambling, always take care ourself, don't be addicted. In my eyes, addiction is a disease, and addicted person can't do anything including gambling.

I think I am not addicted in the gambling because I am not playing it all day I am just playing it when I am bored or usually when I finish all my task the I will play it but these days nope, And aside from that the bitcoin price is getting pump and pump so it's such a waste If I will just dump my bitcoin in the gambling sites.

I think people who still rarely gamble will not be addicted. People who only gamble once a month or once a week will be far from addicted. Because I think the first factor that causes addiction is to play too often, too much play can become a habit and habit is usually difficult to remove.

I do agree with you , playing with a limited time or day will don't make a person addicted playing gambling. I will say fun or entertainment also a factor that makes a people addicted is it is often even without spending too much money will have a bad effect in a persons everyday life.

You are not addicted, I read the asnwer of the members in this thread, than i feel happy that majority of the gamblers are not addicted. I wish in reality it will be true. Now people know that gambling is way of fun and playing games and if we win then definitely gambling give us money, but it is not every time. And about me, i am also gambler but not addicted.

Good thing for the both of us even though there are times that I'm really craving to gamble but good thing that I have the ability to control myself and that's really an advantage for us. And I'm proud to say that I'm not addicted and I will never be, I know what I'm doing and I know my limitations and possible things that I can reach with gambling.

You are completely wrong: Addiction can be stronger that will of even the strongest human.
I've seen otherwise great and 'strong' and wealthy men engaged in irresponsible behaviors to maintain their addiction.

This is why if possible we need to avoid engaging in activities that could cause to us an addiction, when I see someone doing an activity like that and then says that they are doing it just for the fun the only thing I can think is that maybe the day will come when they are no longer doing it for fun.

Gambling is fun to play but the risk is high as well, so if one does not understand the risk he might be addicted in the long run. I was addicted once in my life but change has been possible for me when I educate myself about the real purpose of gambling.

Whether you know it or not addiction was always there, and I think that would depend on us of how are we going to handle it if we are addicted into gambling. But as much as we can we must not go beyond that limits because its not really good at all.

If you are a gambler that are just gambling for fun. That is going to be the best thing about being a gambler, as long as you don't think about profit, your bets will not be that important. Gambling addiction is not giving any good to our lives. It can even damage our lives and financial condition. Too many people fall into poverty by gambling, and only a handful of people enjoy life from gambling. Unless you are the owner or investor in casino.
