Your IP address does not matter when creating a bitcoin wallet or sending a transaction. You don't need to worry about having used a VPN, you will be able to send your coins just fine. The only thing that is need to send your coins in the future is access to the private key that is stored in your wallet for signing the transaction. Don't lose your wallet.dat or secret phrase that you wrote down and you will be fine.

To Cloverdale: Why wouldn't you use a VPN? It hides your real ip address and makes you more difficult to track, especially when the VPN service provides no logs. It is becoming quite an essential service if you value privacy.

what kind of bitcoin wallet did you make? was it one of those web wallets like coinbase?

- if yes, then you may encounter some troubles because you are not using bitcoin when using services like coinbase instead you are using an account that has bitcoin and you have to follow the sites rules.

- if no, there is nothing to worry about. bitcoin is not a centralized bank to monitor what you do and where you come from to block you.
you can even generate a bitcoin wallet completely offline. a wallet is only a code that will generate a bitcoin address (private and public key from it) for you so you can receive and send bitcoin from it.

It doesn't matter VPN or Proxy you will use , just remembered the user name or email address and the password so everything will be fine if you are using any of bitcoin wallet its perfectly fine because it will as you the code was sent in your email and you will put that there. to open again your account.

Nah, Ips are not going to matter in the transaction process. Remember the identifiers, and emails/passwords.

However some sites can be blocking VPN ips, be aware of that.

What countries are blocking online bitcoin wallets? Because I don't know anything about it.

We can use local software wallets and nothing beside total internet ban will block us from using BTC.

VPN will never be a problem while creating bitcoin wallet and it will not cost any lroblem or sending bitcoin from another bitcoin wallet address and i can guaranteed that because i already tested it before i told you blockchain.info is the best bitcoin wallet for me so far

i do not know why you have set that vpn security because i beliv only a wallet security is enough and no one waamts to trace you from bitcoin network anyway using a bitcoin wallet is very easy just let anyone deposit some btc in your wallet and then you cam send it to someone else

I would think this is the reason why he used a vpn in the first place. Because his country does not really allow these wallets to connect to internet.
Kind of a stupid rule if you ask me. But for all that we know he could be in North Korea or Russia.

i don't know about north korea but it is not illegal in Russia and they have been allowing bitcoin usage for some time now.
besides you can always use another wallet if communication of bitcoin-qt over 8333 is blocked. i just checked Electrum and it is using 50002

and if i am not mistaken you can do some changes to core to use another port and maybe hide the traffic!

anyways, you don't really need any of that, even if all is blocked you can still generate an address offline, sign transaction offline and broadcast it using a website like blockchain.info push tx feature.

It might raise some red flags with companies that has to adhere to strict anti-money laundering regulations, if they pick up that you are trying to hide your location or your identity. You might sign up with false documentation and then also try to mask your location. This will then lead to accounts being frozen or locked.

I would suggest you read the wallet provider's ToS and see if they prohibit the use of proxies and VPN's, before I use their service.

By vpn plug in you can be anonymous in online and no one can't reach your location. Obviously to say your find many people here who are using vpn to be anonymous in btctalk. Just have own vpn and show your ip in different location.
