'I Love Mysteries,' Says Man Claiming Hidden Gold

Quote
For more than a decade, he packed and repacked his treasure chest, sprinkling in gold dust and adding hundreds of rare gold coins and gold nuggets. Pre-Columbian animal figures went in, along with prehistoric "mirrors" of hammered gold, ancient Chinese faces carved from jade and antique jewelry with rubies and emeralds.

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

How does a thread about 300 dead acrobats get more views than a serious thread on buried treasure?

I find this very fascinating! A modern day treasure hunt. I think the guy is a genius... it's just the media stupidity and annoying people ringing his bell and following him that I think is sad about this.
