New York is a different creature.  Its so unfriendly to BTC.  Regulation and Control always top the list.  LocalBitcoins sellers won't touch anybody in New York or deal with any cash deposits for New York residents.  Its terrible.  They never stop trying to take a piece of the action.

Yes, you are right. And they will try keeping that position in coming days as well!
But in between next five years things can be change dramatically.
Bitcoin could become everyone currency! I'm waiting to see that amizing moment of Decentrlizetion economic history.
