After discovering bitcoins and mining I decided to dig up some computers I have laying around to see what I can do with them. The computer i'm trying to use is a Dell XPS 600. Intel Pentium D processor at 3.0ghz and a NVIDIA GeForce 7800 GTX. I've tried updating the gpu drivers and other updates and i'm still getting the "no opencl devices" message in the guiminer. Any help would be greately appreciated.

Download and install the OpenCL driver from nvidia web site.

Nvidia is crap for mining on by the way, you cannot make a profit on them.

I have heard that NVidia does suck for mining. I downloaded the latest NVidia drivers and it still isn't working. I have this computer laying around and figure maybe its worth a shot.

no AMD APP can work with my Nvidia ...BUT...

CGminer worked out the Gate on my 2 580 SLI Gaming Rig. The Hash rate is garbage tho. You would need to find CUDA Software or some such.

Like i said Get and try CGminer. Its running on this as I type. Smiley
