First let me say this, if you are wanting to convert the cash to coin make sure you are always getting more than current price. Secondly with that much I wouls definitely not use a single wallet spend $100 and buy a physical, digital wallet you get a little more security that way and you can transfer to mobile wallets easy as needed. The bitcoin wallet itself is great and very simple to use. If you want I can send you a link to the physical wallet that you can buy on amazon I do believe.

Well as i have said from the other thread i would only consider blockchain, coinbase, xapo and coinsph wallet because since they are one of the largest available wallets i know and some are too risky to used tho.

Coins.ph is best wallet for bitcoin for me because you can convert it to our currency I mean Philippines currency. There is no fee also when transferring the money from another wallet unlike blockchain. Coins.ph also can see the value of philippine currency and also you can cashout your money from banks and remittances. You can also deposit your by using 711 store, banks and remittances.

Ignore the advice above. As some of us have said numerous times, do not use third party wallets. Doing something like that has a lot of in common to the traditional system and keeping money in a bank. Those providers (some or most of them) do not give you any private keys. Note: Bitcoins on addresses to which you do not own the private keys to are not your Bitcoin. Generally it is best to keep the money in your own pocket.

That being said, why would proceed with a mobile wallet at first (unless you have some plan to spend it right now)? I'd recommend (at least) a SPV desktop wallet like Electrum.

Just try Coinbase or Blockchain if you want.
Bither is much better than both of these suggestion.

I have about a quarter of a thousand dollars that I want to convert into bitcoin currency and theres so many aaps on the google play store ..

Any recommendations im lookung for a lind of app that i can make a login and log out of the account in case i ever lose my phone thanx

if you are looking for a safe way of storing the bitcoins that you are going to buy then you should only look into making a cold storage. https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Cold_storage
in short it is a bitcoin wallet that is generated in a safe environment that has never been connected to the internet and never will.

also I have to add a mobile wallet is the least safe wallet you can have to store your bitcoin and you should only keep the amount you want to spend on there and keep the rest in cold storage.

you can see the list of bitcoin wallets here: https://bitcoin.org/en/choose-your-wallet these here are more trusted apps
click on Mobile if you are insistent on using a mobile wallet regardless of what I just explained.

Do you want the Bitcoin to spend elsewhere pretty rapidly or are you looking for some long term storage? That's going to influence your choices.

Personally I use Mycelium for smaller amounts for spending. Paper wallets do the job for the rest.

Just use blockchain.info forget about dedicated Apps, that site is all you need. And they give you access to your private key, you can export it anytime.
They have impeccable reputation and so far I never heard about them freezing any account or block users.

With Coinbase and Xapo users are suspended everyday.

They can't freeze you. They don't seem to have a shortage of irritating glitches, though. I started off using them but ran away screaming eventually. They themselves may always be secure but the problem will always be security at the user end. I couldn't guarantee that I'd stay secure so shopped elsewhere.

Well it's better to go with Mycellium or Breadwallet. These apps don't require you to log in our out but only to save their SEED in a safe place in your PC, USB, external HDD or in your email (always in a password protected document) and if possible keep  it in a 2FA email service like Gmail. This will save you much time if you ever lose your PC and you can directly buy and sell bitcoin through the Mycellium mobile wallet.

Everyone needs a phone wallet. Because it stores private keys in protected storage on your phone Breadwallet is the undisputed winner. If you use Android you have to have a phone running Marshmallow for Breadwallet to work. Every other wallet is a runner up. To surpass the security of Breadwallet with Mycelium you have to use a Trezor or Ledger Nano S to store your private keys. This means carrying the hardware wallet with your phone and an OTG cable.

If you're looking for some android wallet there are two that I recommend and that are Mycelium and Coinomi wallet cause both of them can import private keys, supports HD and single address accounts, sign a message and you only need to back up them once.

The only difference is coinomi also supports altcoins wallet and can do some exchanging also

Agree.  Because keeping a large amount of bitcoin in an online wallet is risky. They are always a target of hackers.

As much as possible when storing a huge amount  of bitcoin, Keep it in a cold storage.

It is less risky if you have a full control of your wallet. So look for the ones who gives a private key.
