I have half a Bitcoin in my Satoshibet account by the time I noticed it they stopped responding to email.

Anyone know how I could reach someone affiliated with them who could access the wallet to refund me?  I have my Account credentials still.  Would pay a sizeable ($2000 USD reward).

The casino stop operation during 2015 without any press release on what’s the real reason behind closure. They stop the operation quickly that time which means they experienced legal issue since they have very good gambling business that time for them to close the casino immediately.

There’s no way to recover the funds even if you find someone who work in the casino before because probably their cold wallet is already empty due to the price growth of Bitcoin.

the site is not accessible anymore it seems they closed it, but in the last notification they asked for users to send an email claiming their funds and not mentioning the problems they are experiencing and should not speculate anything about their site, if indeed they have financial problems they should bring run user money , but they really give it back, it's very great

It closed more than 6 years ago. In cryptocurrencies it is really long ago. The price of BTC that time was less than $1.000. It looks like you want to return pizza and get your 10.000BTC. Just forget it, you can`t get anything back.
PS. I`m really surprised with such a question. If the OP wins something, i have a lot of ideas with my lost BTC. Smiley

I don't think it's possible, you can see that the domain satoshibet.com at the moment it is for sale for $96,995 and it seems to me there is no way to return anything, so just forget it and move on.
It seemed that it was impossible for him to get his money back and he had to really give it up, even if it was quite a large amount.
The gambling platform has been closed and has not been operational for a long time and there was no notification or discourse before they actually closed the platform.
Maybe this can be a lesson that we have to take on the positive side, namely don't trust too much in depositing or saving quite a lot of money on gambling platforms.
If we want to play a game or bet, make a deposit and use money with a slightly smaller nominal value.

I was a player in this casino long time ago and I'm quite sure that there was official announcement from satoshibet when they decided to close the service.
The announcement of the closure was posted in their ANN thread and they gave the chance for players who have balance to withdraw by contacting them through email.
What I dont understand here is, why this user did not take the given chance 6 years ago and just tried to complain about it now?
This user should not be expecting too much, he should accept the fact they he had lost his claimed balance long time ago.

Do you have proof that you have half of Bitcoin remaining, the site close down seven years ago the admin posted this in their announcement thread and I'm sure they also communicated this to their members through emails and on their social media channels, if you missed it it's your fault
Hey guys,

We are really sorry but we had to stop our service immediately. Please e-mail us at administrator@satoshibet.com to recover any recent deposits.

You want to get that half Bitcoin because of its value now and in its future value, did you ignore it back then because it's not worth that much to you back in 2015?

That's clearly the case here, in late 2015 when i first discovered Bitcoin, as I remember, the price of 1 full bitcoin was hovering between $80, $90 to $100, so half a bitcoin by then would only worth about, or less than $50, so this user might not consider this a lot of money to go after or bother withdrawing most especially , if he was into some business that pays him more.

But considering what half a bitcoin is worth today, its understandable why the user came back seeking how to get that bitcoin back, but unfortunately, its gone, 7 years ago is a long time, and I personally will give up on any money anybody owe me for this long, even for 3 years.

I don't think this will get buyers $96,995 is such a huge amount for a domain only with no platform attached to it but if ever they get a new owner, that new owner can be considered a well-established company or organization because you don't buy over $96k if you don't have huge funding to start a casino.
They should lower the amount, they are selling a domain only with no platform attached to it, and casino developers can buy a new premium domain for as low as $1000 for a casino theme domain name.

Of course you are right, the amount requested for this premium domain is impressive and whoever is going to buy it must be a really big player in the gambling industry, if you look at the archive of site snapshots, you can see that the price for the domain started with a min offer of $35k in March 2019 and has now reached almost $97k.

Guys remember the biggest bitocin casino: satoshibet.com? I miss their weekly casino bonus. They shut down their site in 2015, but now I open that domain is a Russian forum.

Any recent news about satoshibet's owner, in jail? Or what?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=153003.msg13006781#msg13006781
I actually don't know why that site was shut down. But there may have been enough reasons to shut down that site. Because no one will ever shut down a good site without any valuable big  problem. This incident happened about 8-9 years ago today so it is almost forgotten by everyone so i think nowadays no one knows about the real reason of this

If indeed the casino gives an announcement regarding the closure and provides an opportunity for users to withdraw by withdrawing all their balances, it would be even better to first make an announcement via email so that each user can really get this information so that none of the customers in it feel disappointed or lose their money.
I myself have never used this casino so I don't know much information because in the past I wasn't really interested in online gambling. I only know some information from the experience of some of the casino users.

This gambling platform has been closed for a long time, it is also located in the U.S. side as far as I know. But in fairness, they've still been honest even though they had a problem with their gambling platform.

As you said that they also returned the funds of their gamblers who deposited and played games here, I salute this platform even though they lost money they still returned the funds that were not released by their players...

Conducting a casino gambling site is not an easy task. All the sites that have been shut down in the meantime were forced to shut down for very specific reasons. It may be a legal complication or it may be a security issue or a development complication. However, I have seen quite a few sites that have been forced to shut down after operating for a long time. However, if these sites re-emerge, gamblers must be cautious.

the site is not accessible anymore it seems they closed it, but in the last notification they asked for users to send an email claiming their funds and not mentioning the problems they are experiencing and should not speculate anything about their site, if indeed they have financial problems they should bring run user money , but they really give it back, it's very great

I just found out about the satoshibet gambling platform or maybe I missed it in this forum but I've heard of the name, to be honest it's hard to find a gambling platform like this because most problematic gambling platforms always just disappear and take the user's money away, I think other gambling platforms should be able to follow their example  Wink

I think someone said something about them being forced to close their doors, due to local gambling laws and regulations. It was a bit of a wild west scene back then, so people tried new things with Bitcoin ...because it offered some kind of anonymity.

They soon find out that law enforcement and tax authorities could track some Crypto activity and they stopped these illegal activities. (operating without licenses and operating casinos in countries where gambling are banned)  Roll Eyes

i think this casino closed a long time ago and i played there once in a while, actually a lot of other casinos were closed at that time, maybe they had internal problems or a legal case we'll never know and they also didn't give detail reasons why they closed it, but luckily lots of old casinos surviving also some new crypto casinos coming in this forum or maybe they have new casinos we don't know

Since the developers of Satoshibet started this and is one of the pioneers of Cryptocasinos I'm sure they have casino or casinos running but do not want to associate their new casino with their old one Satoshibet that is to protect their new casino, they just thought it's bad for branding.
It's hard for you if you are one of the pioneers and yet you do not have a share of the industry growth, we may never know who are the developers of existing casinos now that used to be the developers of Satoshibet.com.
