The subject of Dark Net Markets (DNM) is considered taboo, and people often wonder how these markets operate from the inside. So, on September 16, a person decided to ask on the subreddit r/darknetmarkets what a day in the life of a DNM vendor was like. A few vendors decided to share their personal anecdotes on life as a dark net drug dealer.

Very interesting article, showing what's operating in the background when I buy funny powder (joke Cheesy). I think it should maybe be in the Press section though, since it relates to an article.

It may be relevant to the subject - i just watched Black.Market.Dispatches.S01E03.Dark.Web , there was the same talk about dark web (they included old silk road stuff as well)
I don't think it's that much of a taboo anymore. To me it seams that the days of dark markets are only begining their story.

lol im guessing the authorities are gonna be closely watching those that reply.

kind of like the 1980's lottery 'sting'
authorities want to catch certain people. so pretend they won a car/boat/lottery and need to go to an office to get their prize
then just wait for the vermin to happily walk into the cage

I DO NOT TRADE OR ACT AS ESCROW ON THIS FORUM EVER.
Please do your own research & respect what is written here as both opinion & information gleaned from experience. many people replying with insults but no on-topic content substance, automatically are 'facepalmed' and yawned at

all that risk and all that disruption for a bit of extra money most of which you ain't gonna be able to explain when you try to spend a decent amount of it. I hope they feel it's worth it. seems like a waste of a life to me.

Definitely an interesting read but who knows how it will play out.

I like how they state feedback is so important and getting everything right.

Well they looks like normal persons which do run ilegal business selling drugs in the general, taking care at each package they send, soo in the end they are normal sellers, taking care their costumers, i do ask myself if drugs became legal what would happen to those people.

Interesting article. In one case he says he goes around town dropping packages in blue boxes, I believe its the shipping boxes. Don't the cops after couple of times know or be doing surveillance on those boxes ? (assuming they figue out something illegal is being shipped first).

And just like the most seller in here and different in their stuff is including an illegal stuff.

Obviously they can't be discussion all their strategies. They can't do something that illegal and be compeltely transparent about it.

Great article and it is fascinating that those people on DNM are earning roughly $150,000 yearly and I can't believe that the market there is really big.

It is really hard to live if you are depending your survival in the DNM however I can say that they are really professionals that knows every detail with their moves.

And good thing that they have shared some part of their lives for being seller in DNM.

OP, thank you for sharing the article. I wish they could tell us more than they could allow but that would be a lot of risk for them.

The the dark net market still growing at a fast pace. I think that this is also only the beginning and we will soon see more and more of these marketplaces and vendors go online because there is no way those people can avoid using the technology to make their jobs easier and safer. I believe there will also be other services that will go to the dark net in order to go around and avoid laws and regulations. The underground gambling sector will be next to go there.

read the article, sad to hear their plight, living a life of fear, they cant do anything with the money they are making, but one guy is doing charity work by paying his friends and relatives university fees but they could not spend the money in buying houses and stuff,if they could clean their act and become straight i think they could make a case of how the fortune occured, just tell the authorites that you are an early adopter of bitcoin and you used to mine and stuff  Grin Grin , i guess it is possible right ?, since he is making so much money annually, he doesnt need to do this throughout his life.

The Darknet marketplaces took a hit after Silkroad went down. The scene is actually not so good because some believe that TOR is compromised. I doubt Gambling will go underground, because there is no one to monitor the sites currently anyways.

I feel no pity for them, because they are helping people to ruin their lives with drugs and other substances. How many families have

suffered because of this. Let them fear the authorities and the people hunting them down. I have seen what drugs can do to innocent

children, and how these people are exploited. Sorry, but I feel no pity for them..  Angry

You watch the vice essentials where they talked about synthetic weed?
The way the one guy was tweaking was unnerving to watch.

Nice catch, very interesting article and filled my void for information. Twitter following just does not seem

I didn't watch the one about synthetic weed, but i don't have to to know what it is.. one of my friends is destroying himself with it - it's pure garbage imo.
The thing is that (atleast where i live) you can buy it off a shelf, unlike regular one.

edit

just watched that one, it's insane.. - how are you feeling now Twitch.. ?  - Like i wanna kill someone ..
WTF?!  Cant believe this shit is still legal.

Like their names say darkmarkets are dark and unsecure places. Trading there is like living on.the edge, you never know when the police will knock on your door.
