Every coin gets in a bubble at one time, there are many reasons behind the timing of it. After the first of the year most saw a huge drop in price as bitcoin started to climb and people got out of them. As of the last few months, coins were back to gaining value and we are now at the point where they are past their bubble stage and are deflating. They cant keep rising forever, with a downtrend comes a decrease in volume. Check out XCP, FCT, XMR and you will see. Time to buy is not now(Not all but most).
ETH and ETC you have alot to think the hacker for, many lost faith and got out. It could be a different ball game if that all wouldnt have happen, who knows.
Also, with the top volume coins drying up its a domino affect, less btc trading among the exchange means much less volume as a whole. Its like an ecosystem.
XMR is also in a downtrend, volume will dry up slowly.
