Where is Poloniex? (https://poloniex.com/.)

Is there a thread where someone has posted a photograph of their offices?

I keep reading that it is in the United States, but where -- exactly?

What kind of a business structure do they have?

Who is the owner?

(Did I just hear a pin drop?)

Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

go to this website
https://icis.corp.delaware.gov/Ecorp/EntitySearch/NameSearch.aspx
and type in poloniex where it says entity name

it gives an address for the registered agent
VCORP Services LLC
1013 CENTRE ROAD SUITE 403-B
Wilmington DE 19805

It looks like you can contact the registered agent by mail.  No address for poloniex itself.

There's a notice that says
Additional Information is available for a fee. You can retrieve Status for a fee of $10.00 or
more detailed information including current franchise tax assessment, current filing history
and more for a fee of $20.00.

None of which looks like it will help a pissed off customer who wants to get satisfaction.

If i remember correctly there was a topic in the ALT section where guys were mocking them for the address tracked back to a farm or some shit.

The Polo owner runs it out of his home i think eh.

And like EVERYONE in crypto they run online services to hide all their details.

FUD first & ask questions later™

End of May 2017: funds are being withheld for no reason. No response to sup[port email or tickets. Questions via troll box get banned. These are very bad signs of going GOX!!!

 Is POLO going GOX?

Is Polo going GOX?

Good question. Now the Troll box is gone...

Think they are pulling in their horns?

Getting ready to decamp?

The most liquid exchange going Gox? nah. I think all is fine with polo.

"To meet the increasing demands on support staff, the Trollbox has been disabled indefinitely and moderators have been reallocated to assist in support."

Looks like they don't have enough staff ..

Missed this one as well.. https://poloniex.com/press-releases/2017.06.07-Improving-Our-Support-Capacity/

Re-org in process. Polo will be around for a long time me thinks.

I'd choose DOGE for my withdrawals there but that's just me, I got scared off about a month or so back.

I think they are USA based. They currently have issues with member support and servers so response can be delayed.

Deleware is a popular state-of-choice for many operational  businesses because they have some of the best tax rates.  Polo is getting to be a HUGE exchange, in regards to revenue and I was wondering if they have a front office.  This address confirms a suspicion that I had that Polo is probably an entirely "remote" company.  In the US, you have to have some form of address for mail correspondence, but that doesn't mean you have to have an office that people can go to, knock on the door and start asking questions.

A Personal Quote on BTT from 2011:
"I'd be willing to make a moderate "investment" if the value of the BTC went below $2.00.  Otherwise I'll just have to live with my 5 BTC and be happy. :/"  ...sigh.  If only I knew.
