What do you mean by losing your bitcoins ? sending it to wrong address or investing in scam and ponzi sites ?
Anyway You can't recover your coins back because Bitcoin is decentralized currency.

if your bitcoin was lose and already being moved to another address that's not belong to you, so you can't do anything unless you know who's the one that steal your bitcoin there's still a chance,but if you didn't it's mean you're losing,the most better option is to prevent from losing by enabling any security option to the highest security

1. even if you know the person who had stolen your coins, you cannot do anything unless the hacker wishes to return the btc back to you.
2. bitcoin is not backed by any law and government so it would to useless to think about filing a case against the hacker.
3. btw, just for your extra information, there is a possibility to revert a btc transaction by double spending only if the main transaction is unconfirmed.
4. with bitcoin, "you are your own bank" and you have to take care of your own bits. so we say that never store your bits in an online wallet because they are the least secured wallets.

Losing your bitcoin is like losing your cash. You can tell "bye-bye" to them.
It doesn't matter they get stolen, lost, burned, spent on something you don't even remember (at least this last case you can find out on blockchain), but the result is the same: if you don't own that bitcoin anymore, you can't get it back (charge back).

If you lose the keys of your wallet is even worse, because you can't access the money in it, but you will be also unable to access the money that will get into that wallet in the future (for example from ref links).

you need to be more specific. have you send bitcoin to a wrong address? sometimes you can get it back if the other person is honest and send it back (right know there is someone in the forum asking about a received payment he does not know where it comes from). if you made a spelling mistake the money is probably in an address without belonging to someone and will not be recovered. in case of a scam you can try, but chances are low. if we talk about a paper wallet you lost, then you need to find it or a backup or it is gone.
if it is a password to a wallet then there is a chance to get it back, but this depends on the password and the wallet.

Exactly, once bitcoins are gone from your wallet then that are gone forever and then its almost impossible to recover them, unless you know the person whom you have sent your coins.

Lose your BTC-nothing can be done really,please elaborate on what exactly you mean by losing your BTC,like in some exchange or someting?

it depends on how you are going to lose it but in general when you lose bitcoin there is nothing you can do to take it back.

but cases are different for example you may lose you HDD because of physical malfunction and you don't have any backup. or you may forget the password to your wallet that you used to encrypt it. in cases like these there may be a hope of recovering it using recovery tools and brute force for password,...

but for example if you lose the private key, or someone steels it and spends your coins there is nothing you can do.

so you have to first say how do you think you may lose bitcoin then we can say if it is possible or not/

Yes bitcoin transactions are irreversible and you can't do much with that once you have sent it from your wallet, the only thing you can do is to take proper care in future and avoid this mistakes.

Please elaborate more regarding to your question since im little bit confused in which way did you lose your bitcoin. Actually there are some ways  how  did you lose it but one things for sure if you lose your bitcoin then say goodbye and  forget it since transaction are  non reversible.

If you mean like.. you lose your bitcoins because your laptop/phone is stolen; you can prevent this by writing down your wallet recovery phrases.

Bitcoin require more people to be responsible, because you have to keep your private keys safe and you must make sure you send the

bitcoins to the correct address... nobody will refund you or reverse the transaction if something goes wrong. I think a little bit of research

should be done before people start using Bitcoin. { It is not idiot proof } or until someone figure out a way to make it idiot proof.

Yes once its gone then there is no hope that you will recover it back, unless the person whom you have sent is a genuine one and would return you back your bitcoins, but the chances are next to minimum.

Does it really matter though? I guess possibility of you receiving coins back is almost 0%
The only way you might expect a refund is if you sent your coins to address which belong to reputable bitcoin business: exchange, casino, store - they may refund it to you.
In every other case your coins are lost forever.
