But $1 for 1 KM must be very costlier for a call taxi service.
In my country, we do get call taxies for less then $0.4 per kilometer. You are not stating about in which country your service will be available as I have not heard about anything Vancouver (I am sure this brand call taxi is not available in my country).

Vancouver BC Canada, taxis here are very expensive and nothing like ride share exists.
1$ per 1km is dirt cheap in comparison.
Also, Uber charges other fees, like:
Base Fare, Per Minute, Per Km, Cancellation Fee, Service Fees, Minimum Fare
So what I'm offering is more than affordable.
