#Rimbit #Scam

http://rimbit.dk/showthread.php?tid=32&pid=296#pid296

Go to http://rimbit.dk and read more about all his (Mark Karlsson or whatever his true name is) scams, frauds etc...it's scary reading.
Read this one as well http://rimbithub.com/marks-machinations/

"The Big Move is Complete

We have moved the forum to its new location at http://www.rimbitforum.net/ and with the move, all content, including your login details are all intact, so the only change is the website URL.

So what happened to Rimbit.com?

Rimbit.com is now the main portal for Rimbit as it explains Rimbit, allows users to download wallets, allows purchase of Rimbit at Coinmarketcap prices that are updated every 24 hours and a Affiliate Program that has just been launched
http://rimbit.com

What is the Affiliate Program?

Crypto Currency distributes itself via users mining and in return, get rewarded with a small amount of coin, at a large expense in terms of hardware and utilities.

Rimbit has been working on a way to reward the user for distribution/spreading the news and to do that, we need the rimbit.com website as the main portal.

The Affiliate Program is run internally and anyone that is capable can now get rewarded, except the effort is your time, but the rewards are much better!

For every sale that you help make as an affiliate, you now get 25% commission!

Specifications:

Commission is 25% on confirmed sales
Unique Affiliate link
Customize your own banner/text at your own discretion
Paid out Monthly
Payouts via PayPal or Wire Transfer in USD
30 Day Cookie
Affiliate Control Panel to track your payments, referrals etc
Free to join
Minimum earning before payout is $20
For every sale that Rimbit does via your Affiliate Link, you get 25% commission on that sale.
So for example:

1 x $100 sale – You get $25
4 x $100 sale – You get $100
1 x $1000 sale, you get $250
and so on
There is no limit how much you can earn!

When people use the link provided by the Rimbit Affiliate Program, a cookie is inserted into the users browser, which lasts for 30 days.

So even if one of the people you send to Rimbit.com don't buy today, but decide to purchase in 5, 10, 20 days, you still get the commission and if the customer purchases, x amount of Rimbit one day and x amount of Rimbit another day, you still get the commission, while the cookie in the users browser is still active.
http://rimbit.com/affiliate-faq/

Cheers and keep the faith!
Mark"

So basically, if yo can get a friend to give Rimbit $100, you will get $25 and Mark Karlsson gets $75?  And nothing goes into the development pot???

Yes...that's how it is. It's also very stupid. Why not just say you pay $75 and get Rimbit for $100?

He's affiliate program is just yet another scam. He knows we will force him to burn or report him to the police for fraud. Some of the guys already did.

I hope by these postings that we can prevent others for investing money in nothing. It's at least how it looks right now.

if rimbit is legit, they made a bad decision with this.

I know what you mean, but I still believe that Rimbit can be rescued and made a success of if the right people are in charge (and I am not meaning that I should be handed the power!).  Mark Karlsson really disappointed me with all his sock puppets accounts.  It could all have been solved so easily if he had not gone down that route so blatantly.  He was creating sock puppets that all sounded alike and used the same words and spelling and grammar mistakes.  An apology and laugh it off could have worked but he went after one of the senior mods and banned him because the other mod used a sock puppet!  The hypocrisy is amazing.

The high ref commision they have implemented makes it quite suspicious. Why to invest in things which you can get around half for free if you refer others. Sound more like pyramid scheme.

The Dev lost his main income stream via the IGG campaign - this looks like a last desperate effort to fill his wallet.  I think he may be responsible for the huge dumps of the last few weeks to get some extra cash too.

His dumps are not attracting enough buyers so he has reduced the price of Rimbit to a fraction of its original price 1m for $600.

Previously 1m would have cost you $10,000

A dreadful way to treat all the original supporters who have been with him for over 2 years.  He is obviously needing cash!

He is alone now. Nobody supports him anymore. Rimbit only has a chance to survive if he burns the 250 million Rimbit keeps 1 million for himself and let the true community take over as he promised all the time, but he never kept any promises.

An affiliate program is definitely an interesting way to get things moving,
but if this person has a history of doing shady business and the coin is in trouble, I would be careful for sure.

Can anyone actually confirm getting paid like this? If payments are going out, someone will certainly make money,
although it might not be the bag holders left with the coins.
(I am not saying that this is a scam until someone shows some actual proof, however.)

Proof we have a lot http://rimbit.dk/showthread.php?tid=21&pid=182#pid182 and http://rimbithub.com/. On the forum rimbit.dk is much more proof.

Who do think owns the top 6 (or maybe to 20) wallets? https://explorer.rimbit.org/richlist The first one had 250 million recently and it's Marks wallet. I know that because I verified transfer from the cold wallet went to that address.
