I'm planning to purchase one more RX 480 for my mining rig, as there is a slot for it left on the motherboard. Currently I'm with 3 RX 480 8 GB with a 750 Watts PSU (it's Corsair CX750M).

Do you guys think that the system will just be fine if I plug in one more RX 480 8 GB? Is someone around here already running 4 of these graphics cards on 750 Watts PSU?

I'm running 5 RX 480's with a 1000 watt PSU. I have a Watt-meter who count's 770Watt at the wall. So if you undervolt the card's (even a little) you'll be fine.  Smiley

I'm pretty sure you can run 4-way RX 480 RIG on a 750W PSU.

My 4x RX480 Rig pulls 737W at the wall.

I recommend going with a higher Wattage PSU.

May I ask your remaining system configuration? Are you using any high-power ROM? What Mh/s are you getting with Ethereum?

Thanks for the opinions guys!

one of my system total power draw is around 680W with 4 RX 480

System Configuration:

Motherboard: GigaByte GA-X99M-Gaming 5 (rev. 1.0)
CPU: Intel Xeon E5-2666 v3 ES ( i know its a little bit overkill  Grin )
Mem: 16GB VIPER
PSU: Corsair AX860i
VGA: 4x Shapphire Nitro+ 8GB with my own modded bios

System at max hashing speed for ETH (122.5MH/s) pulling 680watts/120volts at the wall
No monitor attached to the system , i set up as a headless computer  , used a Display Emulator  , controlling the pc with remote desktop , TightVNC , or teamviewer Smiley

Your system is will be drawing to much amps for the 4 cards RX480 setup from a 750 watts psu. it may be run fine for a short time. Your psu will work at 95-100%
to stay on the safe side get a bigger psu , or get a custom low powered rom for your cards , then u will be ok
