hello guys..

im mining about 3 month ago..

now i mining at 26 x RX 480 Refference (Mixed HIS,Powercolor,Sapphire)

im using Dual Mining Claymore 7.1 ETH+SIA

my spesific hasrate ( used mod bios )

ETH 746 Mh + SIA 11Gh..

i have a plan to Make new Rig with amount 4500$-5000$..

so, which one is better for now to 8 months ahead

2 RIG = 14xRX480 Reff with calculation 4500-5000$

or

1 RIG = 7x1070 with calculation 4500-5000$

cause my friend say if NVIDIA 1070 or 1080 now just for mining not stable coin.. not like eth etc stable price..

if i invest for AMD im worried about when Eth POS and if compare Nvidia and AMD, amd just have half hasrate of 1070 if mining other algo

really im very confused now..

maybe anyone can sharing about reason and profit for choice to buying GPU CARD..

sorry for my bad english hahaha..

I say divide and conquer

Build a setup that has half AMD and Half Nvidia -- Mine ETH using Claymore's miner for now since it supports both and if a good alt coin comes up that is better for Nvidia, switch the Nvidia cards to that coin.

Adding to that - you can switch to XMR in "after-ETH" era

I would go all in on cheap reference 470s (27-28Mhs)
For 5000USD that would give you around 675/6150 (ETH/SIA)

https://forum.ethereum.org/discussion/10297/sapphire-rx470-oc-rom-eth-sia-27-35-246-mh-s-other-mining-hardware-suggestions-tips#latest

If ETH fails or go POS i am sure there will be other things to mine, there will be alot of mining power available for other devs to grab.

i would go for none reference design RX 480 with 8GB ,

You can get RX 470 8GB cards around 240$
http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=-1&IsNodeId=1&Description=rx%20470%208gb&bop=And&Order=PRICE&PageSize=36

RX 480 8GB cards for around 260$
http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=-1&IsNodeId=1&Description=rx%20480%208gb&bop=And&Order=PRICE&PageSize=36

nVidia 1070 is around 400$
http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=-1&IsNodeId=1&Description=nvidia%201070%208gb&bop=And&Order=PRICE&PageSize=36

After ETH gpu mining is over you can switch to another profitable crypto currencies .

With RX 480 and a modded bios you can get 30-31 MH/s easy on ETH mining , on the same time you can reduce the power usage .
I dont have any personal experience with RX 470 cards or 1070's

2 RIG = 14xRX480 Reff with calculation 4500-5000$

or

1 RIG = 7x1070 with calculation 4500-5000$

What motherboard you want to use for the 7 cards setups ?

you can also spend 5k on 2 rig of nvidia based on the 1060 3gb, actually it would be only 4k, they should do great on lbry

ethereum is at least 20MH with 60w-80w
