There are many types of wallet like green address wallet, desktop wallet, block chain wallet etc.You can go with any of them. These are secured and safe enough for long term dealing with bitcoin. If you have just enterd into bitcoin world then it is better go to beginners section for some important and essential ideas that you would need.

i think you can choose mycelium for the wallet for your android phone because for me, mycelium is the best wallet for android phone. and for the pc bitcoin wallet, you can try for bitcoin-qt or multibit. both is a good and recommended bitcoin wallet. but its need times to get sync from the network and its worth it.

Hello, New to Bitcoin and what I would like to do is simply pay for a few monthly bills online, Only about £30 a month in total and was thinking of using
the Green address app for my phone. Would this be a safe way to go
Yes Bro It is Safe to Use The Green Address Wallet But Before Using this Wallet Also Try Using Some Other Wallets Of Bitcoin But I Also Suggest You That Use Blockchain.info Wallet Because It is The Official Wallet Of Storing Bitcoins and Also It is Better Than Green address Wallet.....
Blockchain.info wallet is really a good wallet. Well secured. We must set up security on our systems though the wallet is already well secured well. To save or hold the earned bitcoins, we require a wallet. Read many threads, you will know more wallets and you will be familiar with bitcoins. There are many ways opened here to earn bitcoins.

You have  a point though since blockchain wallet   have been used  by most users   here  on  bitcoin world but still you should  put only small amounts  because risk  of lossing is  still there. If you have  lots of bitcoin  its better to  use desktop wallets  which is somehow safer  than  web wallets. and also web wallets  is  more faster  when it comes to online transaction and other web wallets  out there.

I've been using blockchains wallet since I've started and I'd recommend it to anyone that's not planning on keeping large sums of btc on their wallet, if you're planing on so, I'd suggest you to get some offline wallet and more secure one.

Correct, blockchain.info is somehow a famous  web wallet as OP mentioned on  green address i do heard  of it also but i would not intend to use it ,i prefer the  most reputable web wallets though. Offline wallets  are better for  huge amounts  to increase the security of your bitcoins.
Yes. It is experienced to be good and secured. Still it depends on how you keep your wallets secured with the options given by the site. I have an experience. I happened to give in my login details into a sits which resembles as blockchain. I ignored reading out the URL. Within 20 minutes of login, my btc was hacked out from the wallet. Later I noticed the URL being biockchaina.com. Nothing could be done.

Next time  we  should  be very careful when we are  logging in  into  web wallets  sites  because    there are  lots of  clone   sites which  you could  hardly notice it when  you dont pay attention to it  and  for sure you would  be a victim on that site  because  all  of those are phishing sites which  they actually get  your logging  in  details and could able to stole your bitcoins  on the actual wallet.
