Hi dear people,

absolutely new in the forum.

I wanted to start a wallet on my computer with Bitcoin-Qt to put on my main computer the 0,50 btc I bought from a friend with my smartphone, and actually see how it works.

Little snitch is installed. Why the first request from little snitch I thought OK, must be needed to work, but then came another, another, another... I started to wonder why so many addresses needed to go into my computer and quit the software.

- When little snitch installed, do you have to permit or to deny the connections coming in? Why so many???
- Is this Wallet already spoiled and if yes, how to delete it and create a new one?
- What does it means when I see by Bitcoin-Qt "synchronize with Network"?
- I read the thread about creating a safe wallet. Is it already too late as soon as you installed Bitcoin-Qt on your computer?
- Do you get one wallet address as soon as you starts Bitcoin-Qt and is it possible to change it?

Thanks for your replies!
Neo

The Bitcoin platform is peer-to-peer, meaning, that Bitcoin QT must sync with numerous computers. Just allow any connections in Little Snitch (which I also use).

I meant any connections for Bitcoin QT, of course.
