It actually looks very interesting despite the fact that you showed us only an external case. Very sleek, yet simple design.
Where I can find original announcement and website of the manufacturer? How much it will cost?
It it will be cheaper that Trezor I might consider buying it as a gift.

The OP mentioned it's using bwallet's sourcecode (http://mybwallet.com/), so it's basically another trezor clone... I don't really mind tough, the case is indeed greatlooking, and if it's using open source code, it has the potential to be reasonably secure (altough it's a shame they're building their product on the sourcecode of somebody else).

Waiting for the price aswell Smiley

I did not know this... But it seems you're right.
Anyway, forking open source software and using it in your own projects isn't illegal, so neither bwallet, trezor or this wallet are breaking any laws (as far as i know).
I just found it a petty they're using somebody else's hard work to deliver a cheaper product, but it's probably better they use good sourcecode than creating a buggy new project themselfs Smiley

open source code encourages better products.

You can find the Bwallet site in Chinese here: https://www.bidingxing.com/bwallet

The developer of Trezor took a hard look at the first Bwallet and voiced his privacy and security concerns here: https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/2tyier/bwallet_review_by_trezor_developer/

Quote
Interesting part on BWallet is, that they really did not change much in firmware source codes, except adding tracking supercookie to the API. This particular line should catch your attention: https://github.com/BWallet/bwallet-mcu/blob/2427d396c29722e1ddd70791aaeb12b55ae5d609/firmware/fsm.c#L148. This reports processor's serial number to the computer and it means that they track who you are (they know to which name/address they shipped the device) and how much money do you have (because BWallet reports this ID to mybwallet.com).

Note that Trezor confirmed it only costs $19 to manufacture a Trezor. Even KeepKey clone had to reduce price to $99 to compete with Trezor.

Advice? If you have enough bitcoin to justify a hardware wallet stick to Trezor or Ledger. Ledger is the true competitor to Trezor since they built the Nano from scratch rather than just another Trezor clone. Ledger Naino S has the benefit of also storing private keys for ETH and ETC while Trezor is still the original and has the most features, e.g Android Mycelium integration and password protected hidden wallets. I use both Trezor and Nano S and can confirm both are excellent products with great customer service.

Bwallet source code... I read somewhere that there were tracking cookies in the source code that informed Bwallet who owned what wallet. Isn't that a privacy issue, or have you guys removed the code snippet?

looking for a signature campaign, dm me for that

Yep, I agree re Trezor and Ledger Nano.  Both have worked well for me as well.

There is no way I would pay for an expensive Trezor near-clone, although I do recognize the benefit of using open-source code (to discover security weaknesses, etc.).

But, I would think that there would be a good market for a solidly built (and nice-looking item like the BWallet appears to be) hardware piece if the price is right.

Sounds promising, although an existing trezor user wouldn't be likely to use this. Looking forward to someone reviewing it.

Has the source code been modified anyway or it is a direct compile and install from the Trezor?  I remember another Chinese bitcoin hardware wallet that modified the keys and did some changes that got people all riled up due to possible insecurity.
