MtGox - my ask price is lower than 'last price'

I have a pending (sell-)order on MtGox, asking price $94. But following the rate going up and down on MtGox I suddenly read next to last  price: $94.4

How is it possible that a transaction takes place on MtGox for a higher price if there is a lower offer available?

It's probably a trade that happened in another currency which was converted to USD and displayed on the MTGox banner. I'm not sure why they do that, but don't put too much faith into that set of data.
