What kind of knowledge do you need to create a gambling site? I assume many sites are written in Javascript? Or PHP? I am not saying that I think I could create a gambling site, but I find the topic interesting and wonder if some people here can share their knowledge about it, like how they got into it.

same as any other website... you will need way more than one language.
plus, everyone is talking about what is needed to create the website.. but im sure the hardest part will be keeping it online. As any other business, it isn't easy to administer.

in fact it is easy to create the website but very much difficult to operate it and specially a gambling website. i think only those people who have good experience in gambling and running a casino can do so otherwise it is one of the most difficult job for those people who do not have any experience in running a casino.

Well its not that hard to make a gambling sites using php and javascript you need both to make a good gambling site but the hard part is when you deploy it to the internet and the very last part in gambling site you need a customer or user to play or to stream your website you can't easily get a customer or user to play in your gambling website but you need a partnership like google make it a trust worthy website its really hard >.<

I agree mate, with those coding you will be able to create your own version of gambling house which you can deploy anytime with some creativity you can build attractable version of your gambling site the problem is how can you build trust for your players, what types of advertisement that you will provide to let them play and allow them to entrust their money to play with your house.

That's in any business marketing is very important to get success. If marketing is not good, then even one got a fantastic site with excellent games no use. So first should know where to advertise your new site and how to attract gamblers with good quality promotions. If one is ready to spend some decent amount on marketing then surely over the time they can gain trust.
