Maybe give us your source first... What altcoin? All of them?
I'm not aware of such plan but electrum is open source and anyone could create an altcoin electrum. For example there's already electrum for litecoin.

I'm talking about ETH & here's the source :
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1628704.0
-snipped link-

It says about support ETH/BTC/XMR, is it true or i misunderstanding? or is it fake?

Lol that's funny. I ran into a duplicate of that just few seconds ago.
There's a possibility that it's a malware. And quoting achow101:

Electrum is an open source project that anybody can fork, change some code and create their own light weight wallet for another coin.

and it has already happened too.

so if your question is that "is Electrum as in ThomasV and the developers" are going to release an altcoin wallet
the answer is most probably no

but if you question is about the existence of already SPV wallets then yes there are three that i am aware of:
Electrum-ltc: you can find it on litecoin official site
Redcoin-Electrum: i don't know where i got it but you should be able to find the link on /r/reddcoin or maybe reddcointalk ?!
Electrum-doge: this was released and abandoned project the last time i checked.

the important thing to remember is to download these from the real source like finding the link to the electrum site on bitcoin.org (a known source) and then downloading.

♯♯

i reported that fake github repo to Electrum via email as soon as i saw it yesterday morning and also looked around and reported abuse to github too.

glad to see it is removed.

♯♯
Good thing that i've asked about this before download it Grin
I thought everything in github is real and looks it it has been removed.

when in doubt just look around:

look at the red boxes in the above pic. even if you don't know the real repository is spesmilo/electrum you can see there is already 6825 commits with 135 contributors and also there are 840 stars (some sort of bookmark) and 465 forks
