The former Bitcoin Core developer Jeff Garzik focused his discussion on the significance of open source networks in the development of blockchain systems and applications. Garzik and the Bloq team strongly believe that an open source community is crucial even for creation of private blockchain networks."
He is a dreamer. He should be the one protesting in front of Apple new headquarters in Cupertino, California. There is no way that banks and financial institutions will agree to use open source code software.
Same with Blockchain - their version of blockchain is a private network, more of a advanced database, but without robust qualities of true blockchain it is not really better than tech they are currently using.
I can't wait until some bank will develop private blockchain and it will be breached.
