The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

Yes, initially. We plan to issue more shares after we start getting data from the instruments so we don't get ahead of ourselves.

Yes, initially. We plan to issue more shares after we start getting data from the instruments so we don't get ahead of ourselves. 10 BTC isn't enough to make an investment in just about any company. A private equity firm invests in private companies. If you intend to trade / speculate on alt-coins that is not a private equity fund but rather an investment fund (more like a hedge fund).

Yes, initially. We plan to issue more shares after we start getting data from the instruments so we don't get ahead of ourselves. So let me get this straight, you're going to further dilute the equity shares of early investors by later adding more shares? No thanks. I commend you trying to do something unique in this field, and you've got to start somewhere, but from my perspective (as someone from the hedgefund/investment world) you need to do some more work on structuring this better if you want people to invest. 1 ) Put more skin in the game, 10btc is a rounding error to a lot of big investors. 2 ) Release a whitepaper or executive summary. 3 ) Explain your investment process: active or passive; discretionary or systematic? 4 ) Explain your risk management methods5 ) How do you plan to manage the assets, do you have a proprietary platform for safely securing your holdings? 6 ) Do investors get yield through dividends or through capital appreciation, or both? 7 ) Whats' the lockup/redemption period? 8 ) What are the credentials of those managing these assets? CV or proof of experience would be helpful.

CV or proof of experience would be helpful. Thank you for feedback. I'm actually going to work on the things you mentioned. Raising the price to $ 0.2 to make a total of $20,000 or I'm sure that this is now enough to make enough gains and get a big stake on key investments, and at the same time will not dilute the equity of early investors. Sorry for my foolishness. 2.) I am working on this now, will release this around next next week. 3.) I will be actively investing in new opportunities, but of course will also be looking into more passive means of profit. 4.) First of all, I'd like to spread out the fund in different instruments so we can make sure that we have a diverse portfolio and the risk of losing that much from any single instrument is manageable. We'll be looking into the long term, and bringing only established assets. I'm looking into things like Cryptocurrencies with POS, Bitcoin financial services, margin lending. 5.) I will be using Poloniex as my platform for margin lending. They're both 2FA secured and are established companies. I have a powerful machine running - perfect for staking coins. As for Steem in the portfolio, it gains 0.4939% per day in STEEM Power, and returns 2.8 STEEM per week. 6.) They get yield through dividends distributed using the Counterparty token system (Our Token: NCGSHARE) 7.) Lockup period is 1 month 8.) I am JM Erestain, and helping with management is Joshua Bacud. Both Joshua and I have managed our own money for quite some time, following the Philippine stock market. Apart from that I'm being mentored by Howie Ross Valino, a veteran in fund management in the Netherlands. Why would you launch something like this on XCP? Their volume is horrifying, at best, and with a new asset, you have little volume. You're compounding the issue, creating a very illiquid investment opportunity. Making an exit from this would be painful and expensive.

XCP is very close with Bitcoin and has a much easier means to manage the trade.. I can always make a vote and we can transfer somewhere else entirely. I would ask though, where would you suggest for us to be on? NXT?

I would ask though, where would you suggest for us to be on? NXT? I've historically been against any of these third-parties, solely because the transaction volume is low on most and brings about yet another failure point: Fiat, BTC, the alt for the blockchain, then your business itself. It significantly increases risk. NXT is likely a better platform, though, just because it's more widely used and has a lot more volume (meaning an entry/exit into the blockchain's native currency -- in this case NXT -- is not going to destroy the price). Also, it looks like no dividends went out this week? How often are they supposed to go out?

We've exchanged 0.005 BTC into ~ 250 NXT to participate in the distribution of Ardor: https://www.ardorplatform.org/Its promising team and concept of a more user-centric version of side-chains, their child-chains are seem to be a lot better to work with both as a user and a developer. Personally I might be developing fin-tech with this, and I can see myself doing so in the future. Regards, JM Erestain

You're creating a new, custom one? Like in the website itself? If so, will there be a way to liquidate shares as well? A big issue with the current setup is there's no way to exit. Unless others are investing, current investors would be locked in for the long haul no matter what.

we would like to give a shot in behalf of Cryptomerian. so we need to open an account on Counterparty and buy tokens from there. You can invest in Bitcoin. I can manage the fund using simple Excel sheets as I've heard Counterparty has problems with speed and liquidity

Hey guys! We just want to report that we've lived up to our motto of following the innovations of tomorrow. We've moved our small mining hardware to mine ZCash early, and we got great returns still stacking up till the end of the week!
Will be making our weekly report Monday.

Can you make the spreadsheet that lists investors public? Or even send in a PM if needed? There are four separate numbers given out in this thread now:
1) The latest report you gave 2) The addition of Cryptomerian's investment 3) The current investment breakdown on first post 4) The actual total funds on first post
This would be a great help in deciding what to do.

I've sent you the list through PM just now. Thanks! That helped a lot. Couple more questions, now... 1) Dividends are paid in BTC, correct? If so, how much of the increase in value do they encapsulate? Like let's say the value of investments in month 1 went up 3.4% (as reported). How much is paid out in dividends and how much is reinvested? 2) How do dividends affect things like Steem? Based on my understanding, the increase in value here would not be liquid, correct (as in held on the Steemit site)? 3) How can we liquidate our position within the investment? What are the rules for doing so? 4) Can we do DRIP (Dividend ReInvestment Program) instead of taking dividends?

What are the rules for doing so? 4) Can we do DRIP (Dividend ReInvestment Program) instead of taking dividends? Hey there 1.) Currently all is distributed as dividends 2.) I will simply sell STEEM to BTC and they will be sent as dividends as well. 3.) We have a 1 month lock in period, and then you can liquidate your investment 1:1 in 2 weeks (2 parts) wherein you will receive half as much dividends as you would with full investment. (in other words yes, you will liquidate 1/2 every 2 weeks) 4.) Yes, you can simply tell me how you want me to manage your dividends Regards, JM Erestain MONTH 2 WEEK 1 REPORTPoloniex Lending ~0.0005 BTCZCash Mining ~0.005 BTCSteem Interest ~0.0008 BTC TOTAL: 0.00606 BTCPROFIT: 1.57%

This week's (and month's last) report will be delayed to tomorrow due to the fact that I am away from my computer and cannot use my 2FAs to do the final trades on. Anyway, looks like we've had a good second month.
The next month will go back to margin lending again, due to the ZCash mining hype dying down. However we will continue mining ZCash.

It's still valid. I'm talking to people through PMs and emails now, since the website never gained that much traffic. The domain is still under my possession however, but I don't plan to open up the website again till we get bigger capital

I didn't get to report Week 1 of month 3 because funds did not move up or down that week. We have stopped Zero Cash Mining and we are holding the Steem due to the rise in prices! We're waiting for a good return this week 2 though.

Hey there, I just messaged you with your current balance with Navette Capital! I don't post here often as I'm not as active in the forum as I was, but rest assured funds are still being managed accordingly! I tried PMing but have gotten no response. I am interested in investing but would like more information. Having quite some experience in this sector as well as quite a capital, I could be quite an add to your community. Regards.

Last Active: Today at 04:21:01 PM try again, I guess you can be more lucky this time I think that Op left this building, even if he gets on. Probably the best way is to open a scam accussation thread and tag his account. Ofc this will not bring your BTC back but its something from the absolut nothing...
