Was just looking at the specs on this card and I guess it would not be too good for mining. Undecided
Am i right?
Nice if you were into graphic design or animation.

Yeah, probably not good for mining. I used it for real time ray tracing and manipulating point cloud data.

From what I read with ETH only it does about 60mh @ 1050mhz @ around 450w at the wall.

Best numbers I saw was 62mh dual mining DCR 1863mh @ 1050mhz and in order to do this, supposedly you have to underclock the memory.

What is the main draw for this card? Is it a gaming card that is in comparsion to Nivida's TitanX cards or is more directed toward the 3D modelling and animation crowd?
Because if it is for gaming then it should do the same as two cards put together in SLI because it costs around that much. Undecided

It is similar to the Titan card line where it can be used as a gaming card but it shines as a workstation card. I think for VR applications it will work well, but I am really no sure at all. I used it for point cloud creation and rendering and only went with it because it was a single card that was very powerful.

That is what I was wondering about if it can compete with professional rendering Workstation cards. Like the FireGL line.

Dunno if this info helps or not but from what I read, in order to get the best performance out of it, you must use the FirePro drivers so I assume it has some sort of capability along those lines.

So if I buy this card then I can use it for rendering with these drivers and expect peak performance in doing this?
Interesting if it is true. Grin

OP has not answered the above inquiry yet so I will ask another one:

What power supply would it require to run this and could I couple this with 4-5 other GPU's on the same board and if so what Wattage on the power supply would I need then?
